Similar theme about mostly platonic relationship, although in Boku Suki it's handled in much more light-hearted way instead of going to abyss like in Gekijou. The male leads are clumsy characters too, although again the one in Gekijou is a lot more pronounced. Both are also written by the same writer (Matayoshi Naoki).

the only similarity between the two shows is the strong female lead and the fact that the male lead has a past that he is holding on to. Except from that, the two shows are far different in terms of genres and concepts

When watching the two shows I felt that sense of a strong female lead and how the two actresses fitted their roles so well

Both dramas revolve around friends and their lives with each other and with their marriages. Especially one couple is very similar to the main couple of The World of the Married. Both females are doctors, both couples have sons, and both couples deal with conflicted feelings, with obsession and deceive, secrets and murder. But also the other couples have their respective drama and betrayals.
If you liked especially the female lead in The World of the Married, you will love Graceful Friends, for she is nearly the exact same person.

ML misunderstand FL and thinks she is a person without honer and pride. The FL who is a good person defend herself and try to avoid the ML. However, by chasing after her the ML learn about her true colors.

ML is convinced that the FL is a golddigger and she can be bought with money while the FL is a reliable, hard-working and honest person.

In general both dramas are very sweet and have this theme of reviving an old craft which is something that's really nice to see. Rainbow Town also focuses a lot on friendship.

Both have detective work and are fairly fluffy romance dramas. both dramas focus on the romance aspect of things and are rather light.
