Both have similar vibes and a subtle BL plot. Both leads are drawn to each other but suffer tragedy and setbacks leading to a separation during which one of the MLs marries.

Both of these dramas are super cute, follow a group of friends from high school until their early adult lives.
imo the main couple in a river runs through it isn't super obvious until the very end but they're great friends the whole way and they always support each other through everything.

you should definitely watch both of them :)

The main theme of both the drama is superhero concept.. comes with comedy

The story starts from similar foundations.
A renowned imperial supplier family goes bankrupt.
FL's broken wedding/engagement with SML.
ML is a childhood friend of FL.

Ragtag found family of mostly misfits team up to save their small town from chaotic elements. The WONDERfools is fantasy so the characters have abilities while Heroes Next Door has regular people using the little army experience they have to figure out why accidents keep happening in their town. The comedy is on point in both, but also with a lot of heart.

The Wonderfools feels similar to The Uncanny Counter because both dramas feature superpowered teams fighting evil with a mix of action, comedy, and fantasy vibes.

Both have the theme of supernatural powers, teamwork and are comedic. Both have mystery as a genre too (although not listed for TROST).

Also to note: TROST is rated 8.5 on douban whereas TUC is rated 7.5 and douban is a site where Chinese shows are rated very harshly while Korean shows are leniently rated and sometimes even overrated. If we go by that, if you loved TUC then you must try TROST.

Mandarin subs are available to download and you can translate subs via some tool for translating subs, which is how I watched the show.

Be aware of the production quality and acting in TROST though, as the show is rated so high for its script and story and everyone accepts that the production quality and acting is bad.

-Both shows are thrillers, one has zombies and the other has superpower theme. In a way both shows are sci fi too.
-TROST is known to be better written, so if you liked LOS you might love TROST.

Both are by the same director. They both are realistic and will take you through a rollercoaster of emotions. They also have a similar storyline and themes.

Taiwan setting for a boylove story with identity issues even if one is because of childhood trauma and the other is wishes causing it.

The Air is very similar to Never Let Me Go because both dramas focus on a dangerous romance between a powerful person and their protector.
In The Air, Princess Blue is targeted by assassins and Police Lieutenant Lom is assigned to protect her. In Never Let Me Go, Nuengdiao is threatened by his family’s enemies and Palm becomes his bodyguard.
In both dramas, love grows between two people from different worlds who must trust each other to survive.
