It's Okay, That's Love is one of the best dramas in this genre. A mature romance exploring complicated psychological traumas, a light hearted extended hospital setting and a great friend/ doctor support system laced with quirky dark humor. Great OST with an amazing ensemble cast and Acting! Overall quite similar to Can This Love Be Translated in the main theme, but emotionally deeper in its exposition of the past and present circumstances and what it can take to heal beyond just love and words!
Epic love story between the male and female leads while enduring extreme hardships. Life experience is needed to grasp the depth of both dramas. Masterpieces both (this includes My Dearest 2 which is just the continuation, not a second season, of My Dearest).
Classic workplace comedy where a protagonist goes undercover as a rookie to dismantle company corruption.
Both are uplifting workplace rom-coms where a resilient female lead enters a quirky corporate team (webtoon editors / financial regulators), blending office humor, coworker bonds, and light romance with career triumphs.
Both are fantasy romance dramas where a supernatural being (gumiho / deity) becomes involved with a human, leading to a contract-style relationship that challenges fate and deals with life-and-death stakes
similarities:
- FL is rich when she returns, and brings back her young kids
- one of the kids is a pro hacker (LOL)
- ML is from a rich family and is the kids' real father (but doesn't know it at first)
- FL step-sis is cunning and wants to marry ML
differences:
- different amount of kids (5 vs 3)
- ML does vs does not have an emotional connection/obligation with FL step-sis
- FL does vs does not recognize ML as the father at first sight
