The director and female lead is the same. The depth of content, the relatability and reality that make you pause and think are the same in both dramas.

In episode 4, they make references to Ikebukuro West Gate Park. It was really fun to watch after knowing the source material. Both shows are by the same director, and the lead actor is the same. Even the writer is the same too.

It is obvious, the each teen is hiding behind a wall which they must break through in during this tough process of maturation

Usokun is a little better of a watch though, even if its harder to find as the supporting cast is really great and the story relies more on the characters internal struggles (while keeping them likable while Fukushu tends to rely on external conflicts to drag the couple together.

Both Marry My Husband (K-drama) and Blossom (C-drama) revolve around themes of time travel, betrayal, and second chances, where the female leads use their newfound knowledge to change their fates. In Marry My Husband, Kang Ji-won is murdered by her cheating husband and best friend, only to wake up 10 years in the past. With a chance to rewrite her life, she seeks revenge and justice. Similarly, Blossom follows Dou Zhao, who tragically dies but reincarnates into her younger self, allowing her to prevent the betrayals that once destroyed her. Both leads develop slow-burn romances with protective and loyal male characters who stand by their sides. Also, their main way of getting revenge is the same which is by making the people who betray them by get married. (The main difference between is that Marry My Husband is set in modern-day Seoul, while Blossom is set in historical China)

Yang Kyung Hee has also undoubtedly included references from The Director Who Buys Me Dinner to Secret Relationships, for example some cinematic shots in SR resemble some scenes in TDWBMD. (like Da On's and Jae Min's fancy dinner scene + Dong Baek's and Yu Dam's first dinner date)

It will make you sob too!! Their love never fades or dies! Ultimate tear jerkers. The idea of what love looks like, or how love should be .., the closest portrayal of what a green flag love looks or should look like, are shown in these dramas.

If you enjoy supernatural horror with exorcism themes, you should definitely watch both Dark Nuns (2025, Korean Movie) and Priests (2018, Korean Drama). Both feature priests and nuns battling demonic forces, but Dark Nuns focuses more on the nuns, while Priest centers around the priests. They share eerie atmospheres, intense exorcism rituals, and a deep exploration of faith versus doubt. Dark Nuns delivers a fast-paced, cinematic horror experience, whereas Priest takes a slower, more detailed approach. Watching both offers a well-rounded experience of Korean exorcism horror, from high-intensity action to psychological, suspenseful storytelling.
