From the first episode of The Penthouse alone, I can already make parallels. Rich families living in an exclusive property, two students who are competing for one goal, a highly-esteemed teacher, and so on.

Faith is my favorite Korean drama featuring time travel. These two dramas share similar concept of time travel, which a modern man in Mr Queen, a modern woman in Faith travelled back to the historical era.

The same thing between these two dramas is that a man's soul is entering into a woman's body. Both seems fun and hilarious.

Both are South Korean dramas, similar in that it features a modern person who time-travelled to the past. In Moon lovers, it is Goryeo Dynasty. In Mr Queen, it is Joseon Dynasty. Another difference is that Mr Queen features a man in a woman's body and Moon lovers was a girl residing in another girl's body.

Both dramas' MLs travel back to the past and more precisely to their high school years, and both dramas actually use this trope to portray a huge, inspirational, life-changing personal development.

-FL is independent, smart, down to earth
-FL & ML have history (different types but still)
-has moments of comedy and more serious parts too (although WDL has more heavy parts)
-there is a kind of childish FSL

They both have a typical good guy character who is overly righteous and ends up disappointing the female lead, and a bad boy character who supports her and is her soul mate.

Both shows have a ton of similarities:
> Have a subtle romance between the leads.
> In ZD the ML becomes a detective while in TGD the ML is already a detective. Regardless, they are both detectives who handle cases.
> ML dies at the start of the drama but they remain in the land of the living. Part of the drama focuses on them looking for the reason they died.
> The FL has street smarts which gets them hired by the ML.
> The FL is the first to find out the ML's secret.
> The ML must fight their instincts in order to remain "human". In ZD he must fight against eating other humans while in TGD he must fight against becoming a vengeful spirit.
> The 2ML is a detective who is in love with the FL.

OH MY! THE SWEETNESS ARE UNRAVEL

I know that these 2 drama is not the same in anyway around. However, if you watch these 2 drama, you will smile throughout the story and feel how the lead couple's chemistry works. in addition, both second couple and third couple are also amazingly suitable for each other. In short, both drama shows a high level of sweetness. for sweet tai chi, it is more to a teen drama rather than young adult, while love is sweet is more to a young adult version.

two different species fall in love in ancient time and tragically died , something missing or incomplete they want to fulfil so incarnated in 21 century for their eternal love.

There are two opposite forces.

Both are gangster stories.

The Male lead is a Anti-hero

The main Male lead played as a support role as an doctor with an dark past. Check out Fu Yao. its defintely worth your time!

Similar in the sense that 2 hardcore women who are into righting the wrong except gokusen is reforming gangsters and whatnot whereas saito san is reforming society

Both female leads are smart and strong and well genius
The male leads are both also smart
And if it counts both the female leads are by the same actress.
