The stories are similar due to its main characters and the historical aspect.

The female character are of low birth but end up falling in love and marrying the king or emperor and even though she encounter a lot of evil women who are also vying for the king or emperors favor she doesn’t let anything bring her down and remains true to herself.

The male characters are a king(Dong Yi) and an emperor( Queen of Han) who fall in love with women they shouldn’t love but do everything they can to keep them by their sides and protect them from other women in the harem.

Both stories are very good and have a few similar aspects but amongst the two Dong Yi is my favorite.

Both series have young characters being awkward about sex and romantic life, almost the same type of comedy and tone, a cute romance that develops similarly. Although My Tee is better in every sense.

Both dramas realistically depict the dark side of hospital politics. They both take a satirical look at malpractice and power plays within a university hospital.

Life focuses more on business and what goes on in the overall hospital, while White Tower focuses primarily on the main character's life.

White Tower is a man's tragic story towards his desire for success, his ideals, and his path from nothing to honor to shame to redemption. Life is more of a murder mystery where doctors clash with a businessman who attempts to make the hospital a profitable business.

White Tower was a critical and ratings megahit in Korea, and the Japanese novel it was based off of was a critical and massive hit in Japan.

Life seems to be headed towards that critical acclaim as well.

This drama is both a workforce romance, where the male lead is both the CEO of their company. Some differences is that Here to Heart is a more tech-based ( I think LOL) company while Sweet Dreams is a flower company.

One big similarity is that the female lead is head over heels over the male lead, especially in Sweet Dreams. For Here to Heart, both main leads are technically in love with each other even after 7 years but it's less explicit.

Personally, I feel like Here to Heart is little less expressive, though it was kind of the whole point since both leads are supposed to be scarred due to past relationship when they are young. I don't know, maybe a little too expressionless though? And the female leader, although great, was somewhat too dead and even though she loves the male lead, somewhere can't express herself until later in the drama.

Even so, I still liked the drama. I didn't love it but it wasn't bad. :)

Similar storyline about growing up. The girl and the boy seem to have nothing in common, but somehow develop feelings for each other.

-social issues
-school based
-friendship

Both deal with social issues and show what goes on in an actual school. It doesn't tend to sugar-coat things. The romance isn't even the main aspect of the the story and the characters in both dramas are very well developed.

Both are mysteries surrounding two sisters: older one who was the mistress of a wealthy, married man and the younger sister trying to figure out what happened to her while uncovering all the skeletons in the closet of a seemingly perfect, high-society family. Both also well-done and engaging. KMSR is more comedic and has more romance however.
