Gender bender. DRRT seems to me, that it tookstory of TB. TB contains quite logical behaviour of character and story is well done, DRRT has more weak points in my opinion.
Both are gender bender. At first I think, that TB is inspirated by YB, but I found, that it's third remake of thai old lacorn. In TB main hero doesn't know, that she's girl. TB is one of the best thai lacorn I have ever seen, story was well done, quite similar to korean production. I found out TB quite realistic, but there was only one weak point - main evil character and plot around murder.
Kimi ni Todoke and Lovely Complex both contain various romance, school, and friendship scenarios. Throughout both movies the main character finds out what real love is about.
Both of them deals with 5 friends who are growing up. Both of them are about friendship, love, sickness. Both of them are full of softness, nostalgia and sweet sadness.
both are about a woman who has to choose between her ex boyfriend/husband and a new man
Both cast the same male lead, and both is about searching for fathers and finding success in the respective industry.
It fun and hilarious..like perfect couple the couple marriage with not like each other at first but end up loved each other..
Both have plot focusing on the gap between the high society (rich) vs. the poor.

1. Jyouou Virgin have AV idols as casts thus the exposing of nude scenes is a plus while Jotei is somewhat on the conservative side (no av idols).

Jyouou Virgin focuses on a highschool girl who wants to be love and accepted in society joins a competition of cabaret girls gathered around Japan in run for the prize money, while Jotei focuses on highschool girl who decided to be a Jotei (Empress) - top cabaret sort of legendary title, in order to take revenge to the people who have money and power who steps on the poor for fun.

Similarity? How the male lead is sick or having family members opposing and yet the romance are going strong. Good medical case study for you to study and learn about from the perspectives of the patients too. Perhaps only in drama, can we see ill-ed person having a lasting romance.
Similar personality types: A callous, career-oriented woman, paired with a man who is so desperately sweet that you want to reach into your TV and squeeze him!
