The greatest love in Yakuza BL history. A devoted young boss x a member burdened with a secret mission; what is the destination of their journey together? The young boss Kataoka, who is deeply compassionate and has a strong sense of chivalry, is loved by many members. However, due to a certain incident, he is ordered by the family head's biological son, Kiriei , to go into hiding until things calm down. The one entrusted with taking care of Kataoka during this time is the member, Odajima, who had previously served as the family head's aide. Odajima takes on the role of driver and assistant, and sometimes handles sexual needs, carrying out his duties without emotion. Yet, within his heart lies a 'hidden mission'—he has been given strict orders by Kiriei to 'kill' Kataoka, who is a nuisance in the succession struggle.

Your typical idol-drama. Eye candy actors and run-of-the-mill plot. It's a fanboyxidol drama, quite similar to HPL but the idol falls in love with the fanboy

Both involve a case of self-defense, legal grey areas, and moral/ethical dilemmas. The theme of someone who has been harmed or pushed into a situation seeking justice or legal clarity is there in both.
Food-based.
But here the ML is a cold, talented chef, and FL is a screenwriter.
They got a good chemistry, a proper enemies-to-lover troop.
Yeah the love triangle in annoying, starting from the 1st ep till very last (i guess only the last 2 ep werent focused on love traingle)
They made some unnecessary plots like FL losing her eyesight for a couple of eps, unnecessary trauma but the love between ML and FL makes you stay till the last.

Both are psychological thrilllers with the leads being a married couple. It has a different set of tone with one being mental support to the wife.
Both dramas are dealing with a sexual assault, victim-blaming, societal pressure, mental support and a legal fight. Also highlights the way the victim suffers (silence, fear of blame, emotional damage).
These dramas are adapted from the novels of the same author 'Wei Yu'. They also have the same genre as fantasy supernatural romance. Great storylines and interesting characters.
