Asahi Mikuriya works at a photography studio located near the sea. In the past, Asahi Mikuri?ya dreamed of becoming a famous photographer, but now he is a cameraman for weddings and school events. Asahi Mikuriya was also in love with a woman, but she suddenly left him.

Natsuki Chiyohara then appears in Asahi's life. Natsuki works as a manager at a well-known Italian restaurant in Tokyo. During the worst moment in her life, when her boyfriend dumps her, Asahi appears and even takes a picture of that moment.

Natsuki begins work as a chef at the "House of Sea," located in the same seaside town where Asahi lives. Asahi's former senior classmate runs the restaurant. Natsuki and Asahi have their past in common, and they begin to get closer. Meanwhile, Taniyama is Asahi's former junior classmate. She holds feelings for Asahi.

Both are action packed stories with focus on friendship instead of romance.
Weak hero is more focused on relationships and emotions, while maintaining great story telling and action bits while Black Knight focuses more on the main story and the main conflict. Black Knight doesn't develop the characters as much but there's still sense of comraderie and the general feeling of vindication is the same

Both drama is about having second chances to be together with their friends and family and also to correct the things that happened in their life before their death while also having a deadline..

Both are MGTV dramas. Even the two actresses playing the female leads seem somewhat similar. In both dramas, there is at least one single parent with a cute kid. The male leads are cold at first.

both the male leads are hitmen and both fall in love with a girl they are not supposed to and do everything to protect that girl.

They really said a drama with one cute kid isn't enough, let's make one with two adorable little beanies..

Both dramas have a female lead who knows martial arts and works as a stunt double. Both male leads remind me of each other in looks, personality, being wealthy, successful and who fall in love first.

Both have leads with an odd memory loss but are immune to or helped by the other lead. Both MLs have a scientific study or program that assists/keeps track of memory.

Both shows feature the main lead in a love triangle with two other men. One of which he had been in a relationship with for a while, and the other who is a new love interest who knew the main lead before they got into their current relationship.

Both are mini dramas in which the FL has a long secret crush on the ML and follows him from high school to college, hoping to finally win his heart.

Even though at first glance they don't seem to have anything in common it's the atmosphere and the overall feel of the romance. In both shows the affections and bickerings between ML and FL are similarly adorable, feverish, loud, heartwarming, sad, joyous, melodramatic, hurtful, amusing, ...
They take you for an emotional ride and you become very invested in the relationships. Also in those of the supporting casts.
