They take you for an emotional ride and you become very invested in the relationships. Also in those of the supporting casts.

Both shows have a strong, good hearted main character supported by an amazing team. They inspire everyone remain positive and hopeful. Their wittines helps them to confidently deal with any problem thrown at them.... even treason!

While one accidentally ends up in a small quiet town in North Korea, the other escapes to a beautiful small and old town near the big sea. If you like the crime story in this show, look no further. The Good Bad Mother is about a single mother raising her son to become a promising lawyer, all while she runs her pig farm. Unfortunately, her ways of parenting has severed the relationship with her son. While she tries to reconnect with her son, her son sets up a plan to officially end their mother-son relationship. One day, her son gets into a car accident and becomes his 7-year old self. Not being able to move his body and having lost his memories, his mother starts caring for him. While he gets better, she finds out about the secrets he kept from her. Was that car accident really an accident?

Both shows are about a single mother, are set in a small town/on the country side, contain some sweet romance, contain a crime mistery.

Both shows feature a terribly tempered and high demanding mother. Although, in the Good Bad Mother, as the title reveals, the mother is the main character. This allows for her character to grow and become more likeable.

These shows are about confident women hiding dark secrets behind closed doors. From manipulating their partners and friends to even their own children! These women will do anything to conceal their imperfections. Unfortunately for them, their past actions will hunt them. After the sudden death of their best friend, secrets start unraveling. This causes distrust and hatred among the women. Some are already standing on the edge of demise and have no intention to go down by themselves. Can these women survive the wrench of their beloved death friend?

Fun fact, Choo Ja Hyun plays in both shows. :)

If you are looking for another revenge story, this one is for you. The show is set in high school. The main character, a young teenage girl, catches up with her twin brother on FaceTime which suddenly gets interrupted. Only a day later, she finds out that her twin brother had passed away. Devestated by his sudden death, she seeks out the truth. She moves all the way from her small town to the capital city, Seoul and enters her late brother’s prestigious high school. There, she meets some of the richest students whom may know a lot more about her brother’s passing than they are telling.

Fun fact, the younger version of the main antagonist in The Glory plays the main character in Revenge of Others.

Similar vibes. One is about airport and maintaining public and aviation security, while the Invisibles is about HK CTRU (Counter Terrorism Response Unit) and the POTT (Phantom Operation and Tactic Team) that solves high danger level cases.
