Same Male Lead, awesome charismatic characters. Modern. Fast plots that you will likely get through in one watch. Both stories have an Ex (2ML) that is gotten rid of by the Male Lead.

Same, same but different. Both are girly, fun-to-watch shows where the cast — like many Koreans — enjoys eating together, and food plays a major role in both shows. The only difference is that Earth Arcade is more music/K-pop based and focuses on traveling and exploring new cultures, while Hyemileechaepa is more about playing games to earn everyday items and furnish an empty house.

All the elder cast in The Litchi Road is from The Longest Day in Chang'an, as well as the director and the original creator. The setting is in the Tang Dynasty, taking place 10 years after the events in The Longest Day in Chang'an, so the vibe and the atmosphere is the same.
Last but not least, there are continuous references in dialogues (inspector He dreaming of being the emperor, while the same actors played the role of the emperor in The Longest Day in Chang'an) revoking the events in The Longest Day in Chang'an

Ever since he was young, Bai Luo Yin had been living with his divorced, poor and rather careless father, Bai Han Qi, and his grandmother. When he turned 16, his biological mother, Jiang Yuan, announced that she was re-marrying and her partner was a rich, high-ranking official, Gu Wei Ting.
Because of his mother’s death, Gu Wei Ting’s son, Gu Hai, had been harboring a deep grudge towards his father and did not approve of the re-marriage.
Through a weird twist of fate, the 2 step-brothers, with their wildly conflicting familial and emotional backgrounds, end up being placed in the same class in high school. With time, they slowly developed a different kind of feeling for each other.

Troubled teens. A passionate teacher who wants to help them. Mafia/organized crime subplot. Gokusen is more gimmicky. Both are based on a webtoon/manga.

Very similar dramas with very similar and well written stories.
Both law dramas; one about judges and the other about prosecutors.
In both the FL became a judge/prosecutor because of her brother’s case.
There are several small cases, and one main big case. The main suspect was someone familiar and the story unwrapped nicely. The veteran actors were just as interesting as the mains in this. They were fantastic.
The main actors carried the drama well too.
The romance was slight, slow burn, and beautiful in both.
