Visually hyper-stylish urban fantasies that plunge into dark moral quandries with a rare empathetic sweetness.

Rainless Love is more romance/fable, Oh No! is more horror/mystery, but they both tackle traumatic topics with humor and humanity.

Both are fantasy romances featuring a powerful ML and a relatively weak but clever FL. There are a variety of characters who want to kill the ML and are willing to use the FL to do it. Both FLs are a bit lonely and start off with a false impression of the ML. Both dramas have comedy and tragedy. The MLs are a bit vain and have younger brothers who start out wanting to kill them. The supporting casts are fun and interesting, and the leads also have to take time to save them as well.

While the ML in Love Between Fairy and Devil starts out as a villain, the ML in Tale of the Nine-Tailed is heroic. LBFAD has a broader scope to its plot and takes place mostly in a fantasy world, whereas TotNT takes place mostly in the present. TotNT also has elements of horror.

Both are fantasy romances involving an immortal guy who has a job that deals with spirits and a normal but strong-willed woman who are still dealing with past tragedies. Both dramas feel like fairytales and have elements of horror. The afterlife is an important feature in both as well. The Ghost Bride is shorter, while Tale of the Nine-Tailed has more action.
