Bai Lu ofc. And it's a angsty drama just like tteom. The male lead suffers as hell similar to Tan Tai Jin. Also Xianxia genre with gods and immortals.

Neither of them are quite so scary (lol).

Well, Nami Uraraka ni Meoto Biyori wasn't yet a "War" war, but I'm sure Japan was preparing for it. I think they already colonized parts of China and Korea at that time too? So people in this drama live a quite prosperous life.

However in the Kono Sekai No Katasumi Ni, it's a "War" war that happened. Japan lost the WW II. Hence the bombing, the tragedy, the famine, etc.

Although both have great stories where romance and family remained.

Both feature sudden cohabitation, where one refuses to leave the other's home, leading to them living together and getting closer

Both have a main character who is very depressed at the beginning but slowly regains the will to live after meeting the love interest
