Both are about a real world FL who enters the world of a historical game/VR in which they must complete tasks to return home.
Both are mini dramas in which the FL must solve cases (medical vs. murders) within the world of a historical VR world that she has transmigrated into

Both are mini dramas that are an inversion of each other - one is a real world person entering the world of a historical game/VR world, the other is a person from a historical game/VR entering the real world.
Fake It Till You Make It has a very similar tone to Something in the Rain! Both are good slow burn, friends to lovers stories. Both depict a more real to life, mature relationship between adults and deal with some of the difficulties and obstacles in relationships, beyond just being in love. Definitely one of the most mature and better produced cdramas I’ve seen!
The chemistry between the leads in both is absolutely electric! Heart fluttering, butterflies. If you like one, give the other a try!

Two people feel an instant connection at first sight, with the love of a previous lifetime connecting them.
UWMA is a modern-day reincarnation/soulmates story and the two gradually remember their past connection throughout the series, whereas IFYLITA has the added element of time travel and living out their past meeting. Both have a very similar vibe and an unravelling mystery/family conflict to accompany the romance.

Runyu the God of night and dragon emperor of Heaven realm dabbles with stars and destinies in this long drama, while Rong Yu in The Inextricable Destiny reads star charts and teaches astrology. Both are rather mysterious to start with, although both have an ambiguous love for their chosen one. Are star charts and ba-zi calculated compatibility or Yuánfèn destiny really powerful to explain the evolution of a relationship? Both couples are supposed to be compatible: Jinmi is water element like Runyu, and opposed to fire element in Xufeng ; Jiuling is a fiery wildcat who seems more suited with the rising prince Yinxiao, and to have nothing in common with the cool stargazer. But they will both choose the opposite side.
Both are mystery dramas with unique characters, lots of plot twists and surprises along the storyline. The two dramas are very interesting and funny to watch.
The story is about a young woman's whose direct family has been wronged but who achieves to right the wrongs. The family relationship is different, but the ML is a marquis, if not at all a villain. It is a very good Historical drama too, although no fantasy or wuxia is involved.
Both are filmed in Winter heavy snow setting. Survival skill is crucial. Family and friends play a vital role in the story. Plot twist. Appreciate life much more after survive near death
Both movies filmed in tick white snowy area. White Winter scenes were very pretty, but mother nature can be hard to deal with. Movies shown preparation and experience in this type of setting is crucial
