If you watched The Glory and liked the social commentary, the questioning of social rules and the place of women in society, women helping each other and, above all, strong female characters in a more serious tone, I strongly recommend you watch Marvelous Women.
- Historical war movies
- Older protagonist/younger protagonist duo
- Protagonists are outnumbered heavily but still emerge victorious
- Battle against all odds
- Heartfelt and emotional
- Beautiful and well-shot
WotD is slower paced and focused more on a travel while TGB is more focused on the big battle (duh).

The story is similar with the grim reaper concept the only difference the fl is grim reaper instead of the ml the plot and themes are quite similar just instead of each other first love the ml is a singer and she is big fan of him he is going to die and she has limited time to save him the story is quite intriguing even the no of eps of both dramas are same it is a part of trilogy called three color fantasy which each of them containing 6 eps
Both dramas have similar elements:
- Enemies to lovers trope with sizzling and natural chemistry
- ML with a "bad boy" image, a smart, cold and alluring guy, difficult, cunning and anti-social personality and self destructive tendencies
- FL is a "good girl", has a big heart
- Realistic depiction of relationships
- Family of FL doesn't approve of her relationship with ML
- Tragic past of ML which left him scarred/traumatized
- ML commits a crime
- FL is a ride or die type of girlfriend
- Contains cute intimate scenes between ML/FL but is also angsty
The difference is: The Smile Has Left Your Eyes is heavier in tone, has a heavier message (on the topic of abandoned children and trauma) and the ending are completely different. TSHLYE is much sadder. But it's one of my favorite Kdramas, especially for people who enjoy the above mentioned elements and more realistic type of dramas.

Hometown cha cha cha is also a slice of life and deals with a lot of problems that people deal in their daily life similar to when life gives you tangerines.

- unfortunate circumstances force the leads away
- they reunite and rekindle their romance
- angsty performances by both mls and fls
- melancholic fl with strong performances by the actresses
- slow burn romance
- none of the cute/childish schtick by the fl if you're not into that
- leads are loyal to each other despite the heartbreaks
- lengthy shows which take their sweet time to get into the romance aspect but are worth the time.
