Both drama share a similar focus on the themes of family, nostalgia, and the complexities of relationships within a specific time period and family dynamics.
But When Life Gives You Tangerines" explores themes of resilience, overcoming adversity, and the passage of time, while "Reply 1988" focuses on the innocence of youth, friendship, and the bonds of family.

For me, both dramas are very special...

Please Take Care of My Refrigerator Season 2 (2024) is perfect choice for anyone who enjoyed Culinary Class Wars, and especially for those who are eagerly awaiting Culinary Class Wars Season 2. PTCOMR S2 features many of the same chefs along with their discussions of their experiences on CCW—along with delightfully fun & heated rematches between them.

If, like me, you loved Ace Attorney because you love mysteries in many forms, you might also enjoy Miss S. The Ace Attorney film is absolute fanservice to the game, and for me the fun of playing the game is trying to solve the mystery. Miss S is a more typical mystery show in format, encouraging the audience to try and "play along". Ace Attorney is much more campy and has a supernatural component. Miss S is historical and is darker but still relatively light for the mystery genre. Both have strong smart women characters.
