Recommendations

Both series have a very strong Bromance bromance theme and humor. Stand by Me is mostly republican mystery/drama/comedy whereas Towards the Truth is more ancient mystery with supernatural and not specifically mentioned as comedy, though I find parts funny.

The female lead in gear me: our summer has a lot in common with twinkling watermelons male lead, and the male lead in hear me to the female lead in twinkling watermelon. While hear me doesnt have any relation to time skip, it has the same comfort vibes as twinkling watermelon. It has a much more mature aura but both are a fun watch

The main characters are either part of the yakuza or have connections with gang members. Both are quite brutal and have a noir vibe. In both stories, the detective tries to collaborate with yakuza or gang members to prevent further bloodshed and the expansion of narcotics trade routes. Both portray the story of rising through the ranks of a gang.

Both shows tackle characters coming to terms with their identities and feelings for one another while finding comfort in another person. They both deal with characters who struggle with things beyond their control.

While Miseinen primarily focuses on the characters high school years who struggle with their home lives/parental expectations, The Eighth Sense follows two university students and focuses more on mental health/living as an adult. (This is my thoughts ofc. I'm being very loose on the themes here...)

Both shows made me cry and felt like they covered pretty heavy subject matter. Which is why Miseinen reminded me of The Eighth Sense. ^_^

Nam Jeong Gi is a single father living with his son, brother and father. He is calm, kind and helpful. His colleagues take the opportunity to give him back work. He works for a small company called Lovely Cosmetics. On the day of his presentation to the company Gold Chemical Cosmetics to launch their moisturizer, he meets Ok Da Jeong, a woman who does not mince her words and who gets angry very easily without thinking about the consequences. Their interview goes badly and he chains the blunders, which leads to the cancellation of the contract. He then feels obliged to give his resignation. After a hard day of chess, he discovers with amazement that his new neighbor is none other than Da Jeong.

We find a quality cast and an almost similar context. The lead has a strong personality and asserts herself in her work and the lead has a quality of assistant with her as in LOVE SCOUT. A romantic office not to be missed!

Both are fantasy, wuxia, romance dramas with Xianxia elemnts

Complex family dynamics, secrets and personal struggles are the main themes of both dramas.

- Even though Perfect Family is not a makjang, both series have the themes of revenge and thriller

An underrated high-quality makjang with an excellent cast.

- Both dramas are focused on MLs that are above the age of 100 that fall for guys in their Early 20s

Really similar probably because the main male is the same. has an investigation by the police and a crime from years ago that resurfaces, was swept under the carpet, and blamed on someone else.

They are being released at the same time

Moreover the story of the wnd male lead in mm is very similar to the story of the ml in tbl

And also the story of main characters is very much similar in both dramas, just that the gender is reversed.

Side characters of Ancient Love Poetry are main characters in Moonlight Mystique. Fan Yue in Moonlight Mystique is also demon god true god Tian Qi in Ancient love poetry. Yuemi in Ancient love poetry is also Bai shuo in Moonlight Mystique but mortal version.

"Interminable" and "I Feel You Linger in the Air" are historical drama series center around an estate that is significant to the protagonist transmigrated either from the past or the future. Either way, the protagonist has an infinity with the owner of that estate, a promise awaited to be fulfilled.
