Really a very good movie!
"The Villainess" is an intense action movie, the first eight minutes are to get your brain in the rhythm, right from the start, starting with a bloody opening, practically a carnage,
Where a woman (swordsman) in a hallway, cuts mercilessly everything that moves on its way through a vertiginous camera angle. (For gamers, this scene is nostalgia, after all who does not remember "Metal Gear Solid" created by Hideo Kojima launching for PS1 / PC in 1998! That corridor of bodies wrapped in sea of ??blood, remember !?)
The cinematography is wonderful, transitions beautiful and clean as we realize that there is a really exciting story at stake.
Unfortunately, it is a very confusing narrative, or an often and often organized structure, of a young fighter and assassin of talented swords used by an obviously corrupt organization to do their dirty work. Their problems are only extenuated with the arrival of a child who threatens their future and good will for both ...
The film has a good acting, and the action scenes, especially the chase scene, are spectacularly staged, a movie rich in all feeling, a pity that the narrative was confusing!

For those who love action scenes, this is a must watch. The first minutes remind me of the computer game Counter Strike. Oh, I suck at giving reviews but yeah, I enjoyed watching this. Mainly because I love action movies/dramas. The blood and the killings look real so I think someone with a weak stomach shouldn't watch this.

PS. I saw comments saying they don't understand the plot and some scenes don't make any sense but I think you should rewatch it. I clearly understand the story.
