It’s set in the same universe. The male leads of both stories are friends, and the stories are connected.

Both shows follow a group of people who are total opposites (like a demon and a hunter) but are forced to work together. You get to watch them go from being strangers to family/friends that would fight and die for each other. They have the same aesthetic feeling, visuals, the use dark, moody lighting and cinematic camera shots. both shows feature supernatural creatures with tragic backstories. The stories often make you feel bad for the evil/villains because their feelings are “justified” (still not).

Main leads are same here.
Two men with contrasting personalities are brought together for a grand heist, forming a complex love-hate relationship.

Joker is a talented thief, leading a double life as a charming, boastful man while secretly robbing wealthy oppressors to help struggling villagers.

Jack, a former taekwondo substitute turned debt collector, is calm and intimidating. He believes in using strength only to protect the weak and prefers solving problems peacefully.

the FL in both shows come out of a bad marriage, with cheater husbands. Both had long sacrificed personal careers for the marriage. They both come out strong after divorce. of course, in TEOM we see the whole joruney of the FL from a blissful marriage through the discovery of infidelity and then divorce and then finding herself again. In contrast in DH we see the FL's life after she has already divorced her unfaithful husband. the characters in TEOM are more layered in comparison to DH. Also FL has kids in DH and the ML also is a widower with kids. In TEOM only the FL is shown to have a second chance at relationship.

SIMTAF is an enemies-to-lovers show, and CTLBT is not. But there are lots of similarities.
- In SIMTAF the ML is an idol,; in CTBLT, FL is an actress. They are both in the entertainment industry.
- FL in SIMTAF is an aspiring journalist and in CTLBT ML is a polyglot. They are more like common people.
-FL in CTLBT and ML in SIMTAF are looking for their fathers.
-The biggest similarity is, they fall in love while shooting for a “dating” show.
- Both the MLs have unrequited first love who are the SFLs in both the shows.
- in both the shows, those love interests are in unhappy relationships. Though in CTLBT, it’s not toxic like in SIMTAF. Plus the SFL in CTLBT is not a doormat like the other SFL.

Both dramas have emotional manipulation, gaslighting, and a strong female lead. The dramas do a good job presenting signs and symptoms if you've ever had questions about what normal is.

Both series feature a slow-burn emotional romance built on trust, care, and gradual connection between the protagonists. In both stories, the relationship develops through vulnerability, mutual support, and personal growth, with a soft, intimate, and sentimental tone.
The main difference is that Last Twilight has a more realistic and emotionally intense approach, while My Magic Prophecy feels slightly lighter and more stylized or mystical.
