Both FLs are the survivor of their people being wiped out, and the MLs were orphaned when young and gifted. Both leads attend a wuxia school together. Both dramas have a similar feel and both have Xu Kai as the ML.

Both shows are about the fight for succession of the throne after a relatively stable time! They have incredible political twists and turns & no one is really who they appear to be. The chessboard is literally constantly changing with each event. While NiF is a longer palace drama and features slower & hidden political machinations for the throne, Queen Woo jampacks most of that fight in just 8 episodes.

Both are short bl dramas produced and uploaded to youtube by the same company (strongberry/matchbox). One actor even appears in both shows (but portrays different characters).

Main characters are portrayed by the same actors. There are some "parallel" moments too. Love is Sweet will surely give you a sweet antidote to the heartbreaking potion that is TTEOTM!

Both couples have similar misunderstandings due to having married young and “wasted their youth” for/on each other. Both couples realize they still love each other and only resolve misunderstandings (and understand each other) after they part. No serious second lead love triangles. The supporting cast and friends are funny.

Yu Tong has a strong woman side that reminds me a lot of the lead of "TALE OF ROSE" more, the two dramas have in common the exploration of romantic relationships and its setbacks and a neat cinematography as well as the place of women in society/love.

I think that both for the rhythm of the drama and its dark sides, and for the lead addicted to work who has no scenic expression and who is in "robot" mode like Moon Ga Young in "Interest Of Love" there is a strong similarity. In addition, the drama addresses intertingled couples and betrayals just like the kdrama. I found a lot of vibes of this one in the first episodes, and if it's like the novel it may be very similar From the point of view of human relations .
