Both shows have quite a lot of similarities. Both are a military-themed reality shows where reservists from different special forces compete for the best team title. Alongside Korean both also include non-Korean special forces operators - in Iron Squad 3 it is US special forces (USSF) team, while in the Soldiers three out of four team captains/mentors are non-Korean. Some of the participants also participated in both shows which includes (but are not limited to) 707's Hong Beom-Seok, UDU's Go In-ho and USSF's Wil Ravelo (he was a mentor/team captain in the Soldiers). I believe that if you liked one, you will most likely like the other show as well.

during the 2007 Chinese New Year, Jian Qing (Jing Boran) and Xiao Xiao (Zhou Dongyu), two young adults, meet on a packed train leaving Beijing for their hometown for the holiday. Throughout a train ride filled with drinking, card games, and pranks on other passengers, Jian Qing and Xiao Xiao begin to develop a bond that will last for years. But while Jian Qing has feelings for Xiao Xiao that go beyond friendship, Xiao Xiao seems to prefer being in relationships with older men whose financial and material success far outweighs their physical appearance, personality, and the fact that they are often already married. In Beijing, the two work numerous odd jobs to make ends meet as Jian Qing works to become a successful video game developer. Over time, as Xiao Xiao becomes less materialistic, Jian Qing struggles with trying to pursue his life's dream as his friends become more financially successful. Their relationship is shown through a series of flashbacks as Jian Qing and Xiao Xiao in the present day run into each other and get reacquainted after their flight out of Beijing is canceled. As they talk, they reflect on what might have been and must contend with what could still be, despite all the changes in themselves and the world around them.

- Both shows are ???, centering around a rag-tag group of distinctive personalities as they bumble their way through jianghu
- Main characters face and resolve conflicts through happy chance and some contrivance
- The humour is campy and the writing never takes itself too seriously. The jokes and nuances are best enjoyed if you understand Chinese (accents and puns galore)
- Both are also low-budget productions, and it especially shows with Growing Pains (though it could also be that it was filmed in 2018 and only released in 2024?. This is actually a boon, since it enhances the shows' comedic flair
- Unfortunately both shows are also not geared for the international audience, with subtitles missing or sorely inaccurate

Both FLs enter a fictional world (game vs. novel) where they fall in love with an unimportant supporting character and must attempt to save him.

Cinematography is similar, and it's similar in a sense that both of the main characters are in a similar situation, and they find love :))

not really but I like both dramas.
Hidden Love is about a girl who falls for her brother's friend since she was child and never waver from her crush all the way into her adulthood. some parts were boring but still liked it. Actress is not my fav so I'm a bit tough on the drama but I still recommend it

Koi wa Tsuzuku yo doko made mo is about a girl who falls for a man she meets on the streets by helping save someone, and she vows to find him and profess her love to him so she becomes a nurse so she can get close to him,
the rest you gotta watch

-Both are kind of unhinged investigative dramas with a rebel ML and a grounded FL.
-The male leads both use unusual tactics to solve crimes. Jin Yi Soo (Flex X Cop) uses his chaebol connections and money to get insider information about cases. Jin Jung (Bad Prosecutor) uses his craziness.
-Both have well-choreographed fight scenes and good direction
-Dramas are case-centric and focus mostly on the investigations, but the main characters all have personal traumas/storylines to work through
-Romantic undertones between the leads. FXC hasn't finished airing, but it has more romantic scenes than BP
-Both casts have great chemistry
-They're fun dramas to watch when you need a taste breaker from fluffy romances
