Both shows involve teams that form a bond through their shared occupation and go through survival games that include physicality, strategy, and teamwork. The games aren't the same, but the growth and spirit of the members have a similar feel.

Both are about gods who come down to earth and begin to care about the people there, as well as falling in love.

The story lines aren’t really that similar, but both dramas include a romance between a CEO (boss) character and a down to earth person. While in “Begin Again”, Lu Fang Ning is the CEO and Ling Rui is a doctor, and the child doesn’t happen until later on in the drama because it is their biological son, that they had after already falling in love and then separating. Meanwhile in “Please Be My Family” the children are the original driving force for them to get together and their scenes are truly perfect. The drama would not be so good if the scenes with the kids didn’t appear to be so natural. Honestly I think that while both dramas plots are quite different the feelings that they convey are quite similar.

Lots of similar tropes and plot points. Both dramas have an adult attending high school, both dramas include an engaging mystery, and more, just very lazy to name them all.

both "a date with the future" and "light chaser rescue" are about front line responders. in both dramas, there are characters in the medical field. both include an earthquake emergency. and have a plethora of supporting cast for various side stories. and there's romance in both dramas.

Both dramas surround a workplace setting.
Both the main leads of the drama have poor educational backgrounds.

The leads of these two dramas have similar condition in which they felt some guilts and regrets after losing their loved ones. They faced the "lingering" presences of their loved ones before gradually overcame it.
