Noburu is a handsome designer who draws a high salary and has a good marriage with Aiko, whom he much loves. That is until Noburu witnesses Aiko enjoying an affair with her boss and looking very happy. Feeling betrayed, Noboru decides to get revenge on his wife.

Both dramas have an older male lead that is being chased by the female lead first. Both female leads also have terminal illnesses.

In both the ghosts don't reincarnate. They both have a mystery to solve. Both have romance and a mystery to solve.

Both dramas have mystery surrounding the female ghost's death & supernatural aspects. Both dramas have a mix of romance, comedy,drama. Now in SSW the ghost is a mother while in PLH the ghost is a girl.

They both deal with ghosts. In SSW its a ghost mother . In PR it's a girl ghost trying to find her body. Each story has a mystery to solve.

Both are mini dramas with a dark tone in which the FL discovers the man she loves is keeping many secrets from her and everything she believes may be a lie.

While one is BL non-fantasy and the other M/F fantasy, both have one of/the ML(s) as an idol in a group, and his relationship with his bandmates is very similar as is his kind and bright personality. The other lead has past trauma or low self esteem, and both leads face great challenges to their relationship. Both dramas veer between being very comedic and very serious, touching on some important issues.

In both dramas the wealthy leads hire people from the country side to marry them without knowing their full backgrounds; in order to trick their fathers who have imposed preposterous conditions for their marriage. The fake spouses are both looked down upon by their wealthy fathers in-laws and other family members who see them as ignorant, uneducated people of low social status. Both father in-laws and other family members try many tricks to force them get divorce. Both dramas have the theme of judging people by the social status rather than their character.

Chinese remake of "Blind." Preferred Korean version, but Chinese version good too. I haven't seen Japanese version yet. Handicapped FL fights a killer in order to save her own life & that of another.

Both are mini dramas with the same actress as the FL. Both FLs are in law enforcement/crime solving (private detective vs. police) and have a childhood connection with the ML who is in the midst of a plot connected to the past. At some point in the story, the leads are on opposite sides, but despite some twists, both have an unexpected happy ending.

Possible a remake of this (1999) movie... the similarities is uncanny.
