Both FLs pose as boys to enter an elite school. Both MLs are a bit silly and teasing. Both are historically set dramas, although GIC has fantasy elements that AMA doesn't.

Obsessive ML characters, a common theme of wanting justice (in different ways), both are period/costume mystery/judicial dramas, not a lot of predictible romance (of any type), good side-kicks to the main characters.

Also, great casts in both dramas, and very good production values.

Both are same stories based on the same novel.

It has got slap-kiss, revenge, betrayal with a intense angry hero and a pure hearted heroine that tries to make everything right.

Both dramas were produced by the same production company and take us along a slow burn romantic journey that takes place in both small villages and big cities. We also see some familiar faces along the way. The Main CPs of both dramas progress at a steady realistic pace.

While at first glance these two might not seem to have much in common, the choppiness of the storytelling reminded me a bit of The Tasty Florida. There's also the similar not quite enemies-to-lovers but close enough vibe.

More like it’s a ‘ghost series’ suicide and the plot that is quite messed up yet still been fixed up as they try to write the story… it’s quite interesting that they make it intense but in the end we would think ‘so what was the point of this story and what message they’re trying to give to us?’ Something like that… not the best for both but I think it was quite fine for both…

Both of these dramas center around leads with long-term secret crushes, and the secret flirtation they have unbeknownst to their friend group. Said friend groups are also eccentric and goofy.
