Both dramas focus on each character's individual lives, portraying their struggles and emotions beautifully. In the way in which the characters of Reply 1988 live together, rely on each other and cry together; the characters of our blues reside on Jeju island and their various occupations are intertwined. I'll go as far as to say the occupations depend on each other.

While both of these stories are situated in different genres and scopes, they both feature a queer relationship that starts to crumble apart after workaholic neglect and bottled feelings.

Both of these GL short films explore a relationship where the leads grow distant from each other. Finally, after an extended period of time of silence and bottled feelings, tensions come to a head.

One is the drama, the other a fun bonus ep with the ML and the FL in a modern day instead of historical setting.
