Both are Japanese movie about a cafe that somehow somewhat not just serving good coffee, it serve as healing, caring, kindness, bind the family, friendship. Very calming effect

In Shooting Stars, its the actor and his PR manager

In Tsumari, its the actor and his manager or handler

Both are hate relationship at first then turns into love...

lots of violence and abusive behaviour, many school flashbacks with very obviously bad stuff (IDK HOW TO WORD IT), r*pe, a very similar vibe.
i think both movies have lgbtq characters but the world of kanako made no sense to me so.

Both movies are of high rewatch value. Very heartwarming and heart touching. You will smile and cry, high value. They move your hearts. Some intensity, some sweetness , kindness,

Both are heartwarming Japanese movie. Some time travel theme, but most important is the kindness, mankind. Some mystery feeling, sweet, high rewatch value

Both are in the cafe setting. Japanese movies. One is time travel the other one in the village setting. Can almost smell the coffee

Both have PHJ and he's a bit the same awkward dude that thinks he's cool but he's sloppy in a cute way
And both fls also feel the same. Cute and quirky but not annoying
And both are comedies

Since Crazy Love is ending soon From Now, Showtime is a great replacement
Both are fun and funny, maybe a bit romance but it's not a cliche romcom

Differences:
- FL in SS works directly with the ML in the industry within the PR team whereas in LMBYK FL finds her self working with ML due to a coincidence and her circumstances.
- ML and FL have a history in SS whereas in LMBYK they had not met previously.

To be honest I was watching SS and it just really reminded me of LMBYK (although the plot itself is different). So if you haven’t seen it already give it a try.
