About FL shogi player in this drama. In Awake is ML shogi player. This drama based on a manga/comic book.
Similar about shogi player story but in Chihayafuru have a high romance love story & about achieving her dreams as a top shogi player. She want to be the best shogi player so she can meet her long lost time best frie d again because they made a promise when they were kids. I like Chihayafuru cast especially Mackenyu too adorable. He fit his role as high school student.
A beautiful short film starring Park Hyung Sik. It shows the struggles and also the will to prevail the onset of blindness. The cast is wonderful, and the story is gentle and sweet. I watched it more than a few times. You can find it with English subs on YT. Samsung produced it for medical purposes. I didn't know that for a few times, that's how good it is. Tissues needed.
Although I haven’t watched love under the stars they seem they are about the same thing where the female lead boyfriend pushes her and due to some magnetic field she comes back.
Similar topics: the cook falls in love with her boss, they bicker most of the time but can't stop falling in love. The guy from Love in the Kitchen is horrible and Dating in the Kitchen is amazing. Women are similar. Overall Dating in the Kitchen is a great series with the most romantic scenes and a great love but Love in the Kitchen is a bad movie with a good theme but an awful love story.
I have not watched "Lucky Club", but by reading the synopsis, it reminded me a lot of "Lucky Romance".
In both shows we have a superstitious female lead who falls for the smart, genius and down on earth type guy.
I like a lot of this drama, "Lucky Romance" and I just discover and added "Lucky Club" on my plan to watch list.
Maybe I get back and write more about both shows similarities after watching "Lucky Club" .

Same background set, both are in school setting and both FL got bullied because of plain looks.
The leads overcome the issues together and come to accept their own flaws as the friends bought courage to each other.

The drama is about the romance between a picky CEO and his temporary special assistant.
Nie Xing Chen is the new assistant of Yan Jing Zhi. Despite meeting for the first time, she already knew the difficult daily habits of her boss.
He is an arrogant CEO with a high IQ who suffers from mild obsessive-compulsive disorder, is assertive at work, pursues perfection in life, but is also a perfect man in the hearts of many girls.
Whereas Nie Xing Chen is the perfect secretary at work, and can be sweet, beautiful, capable, independent, and always has a positive attitude and is optimistic about life. Yan Jing Zhi is famous as a cold-hearted boss, but Nie Xing Chen manages to hold and handle alone.
As time goes by, Yan Jing Zhi and Nie Xing Chen began to fall in love until they experienced problems with each other. What is the next ending story of two strangers who've actually seen each other for years?

For me, one of the most noticeable things about I Don't Want To Be Friends With You was that the backdrop wasn't the usual Beijing/Shanghai etc but the cold Northeastern China; Harbin. It was really refreshing.
And Vacay 2 is also set on Harbin, which instantly intrigued me.
If you are a fan of this kind of silly little details like me and looking for a change in the usual backdrops of Cdramas, these two dramas are good choices! ? (well there are other reasons too, they both are very good dramas, backdrop or not, lol)

Both have a very similar feel to them. In train the ml travels to an alternate dimension in order to solve a serial murder case. And in Kairos the ml gets in contact with a woman from the past in order to save his kidnapped daughter. Though the storylines are different, they both use fantastical elements to solve a crime.
They are both from manga, and both are Korean bl. Roman, Youth, Drama, bl.

In both dramas, the two leads are enemies until they aren't :). Both involve a murder mystery, action and lgbtq+ romances. Main leads have similar jobs (one in crime, the other working for the justice system). On top of this, both dramas' storylines revolve around very serious themes.
Both couples have great chemistry + similar vibes of dealing with one’s feelings of attraction towards one another.
- same fluffy hilarious romcom genre
- Both FLs have disguises and fake identities. Both dramas have boyish CEO MLs with traumatic backgrounds
- In both dramas, MLs know, like and respect the real identity of the FL and her work(ABP- Food research, INAR- inventor/enterpreneur) but don't know that the fake person standing jn front of them js actually that person.
- Both FLs have strong, supportive, fashionable best friends who fall in love with their love interests first and do the pursuing in the beginning

Both are independent movies with metaphor-ridden, surrealist plot lines. Albeit in different ways, both stories showcase a wide range of social issues in modern-day society, packaged in unique and occasionally quirky symbolism.
