Both drama revolves around a daily group of cop dealing with their respective duties in the police force. It is also more about slice of life than action. The story is so touching and the way it shows the struggles that these police officers are dealing with in their work and life is so powerful and great.

Both series feature a protagonist who was involved in an incident that scarred them deeply and made them want to become a policeman. And in both series the protagonist had psychometric abilities to read memories by touch; to which said abilities were used to help them solve crimes. The only difference between the two though, was that Lee Ahn had the psychometric abilities to read memories left on certain objects and people (living or dead) that he touched while Dongbaek and Eraser could read, delete and manipulate the memories of living people they touched at will.
