General mood of both dramas is smillar. Both are about ML that seem to be tough but find a soft spot for MLs. MLs characters are also smillar.

Both dramas are rather light and genereal historical setting is simillar. Both are about females that travell to the city and become investigators and then fall in love with their partner in solving crimes.

very similar feel/vibe, both good old Kdramas with special realistic and full of emotion feel.
both are sad love stories with triangles (more in Bali), not only ending but the whole stories have this suffered sad feel.
both have great acting especially from ML (both great actors, especially Jo In Sung).

Boths dramas are comedies set in Joseon and both have some serious aspects. FMs are poor and hard working. They both hide their soft sides but also care for their families (brothers). MLs also have some similarieties. They are upright and serious flowerboys.

The only thing they have in common is that both storylines feature the protagonists traveling back in time to resolve problems from their pasts. The Door into Summer is more sci-fi-oriented, whereas Tokyo Revengers is more action-oriented. In either way, both films are worth watching.

A story that follows an upright goddess and a constable with a cold exterior who join hands to solve crimes and find love along the way.

It’s not exactly the same but one of the similarities is King/Emperor falling in love with a maid. And the chemistry b/n the leads is on point.

Both are my favourites. So if you liked The red Sleeve, u will certainly like The Empress Ki.
