Recommending this just because they share the same boisterous and obnoxious laugh. These shows do not have anything in common at all but that (exp for the -spoiler- plot line).

If the drama is as much based on the novel, the ending of the ml and fl of Scarlet Heart and Red Sleeves are same. Regardless of the time travel in SH:R, the story flow of political reasons coming in between lover and separation are same.

If you enjoy the film or just the chemistry between the characters, you might like this 3-episode spin-off of the variety show House on Wheels. It features the main cast of The Pirates: Goblin Flag and aired in September 2021. It's such a feel-good show, I highly recommend it!
