One is a movie and another is a series.

Both of the leads have an occupation in which you can rent a person.

In RaF, it's only for the purpose of being a friend for a day.

In Rental-san, the main lead can be rent for a specific task which requires to do accompany a person in doing a specific task (see more: description of the drama). Rental-san is based on a true story too.

Both leads are expressing their fight for independence through various literary forms.

Both are set during the Japanese occupation in Korea.

In THoD, the romance is highlight between the leads, but in DJ, the friendship between the leads are much more showed.

Both are sad and based on true stories. (As it is indicated on the tags)

Baek-ho eventually starts working in the marketing department of Bonjour Foods, where Dan-poong is his superior. At first, she is exasperated by his inexperience, but is eventually impressed by his work ethic and innovative ideas.

Both dramas ascertain and pinpoint women's independence and brings a different perspective. They both bring to the people the reality, that women can also notice finer details to see what is really going on underneath.
In terms of personality, Shanggu/Houchi is similar to Duanmu Cui, the female lead in "No Boundary"
wherein they know what they want, chases after it, and is always sincere while pursuing it~
The “it” can also be “someone”!!

If you need a head start on what to expect on the release of The Grotesque Mansion look no further. Just from reading the synopsis alone both portray webtoon writers having a strange connection to the killer. Both also use animation as a special method in revealing the truths behind why the crimes took place.

The only reason I am recommending these two together is because of the Yo-Yo kid in The King: Eternal Monarch and So Nyeo Shin (The Deity) in Doom at Your Service.
They have similar roles as the ones not being a main character but having a huge role in the story. They are the ones that watches over everything and only interferes when they deem necessary.

Both feature hitmen who write online novels or draws webtoons about their real experiences as hitmen under the guise of fiction, which leads to chaos and their lives changing forever.

LTNS is more about romance and action while H:AJ is more of an action comedy but they both have similar backbone stories of the hitman wanting to leave his life as a killer to start a life with his new family.

The first few episodes of blackout follow a different character each just like in i hate you i love you. The truth about a certain event is slowly being revealed with each new episode and perspective presented. Its also a birthday party that sets everything into motion in both.
Other than that they are comperatively short mystery thai dramas with themes of friendship.

Although their stories are rather different, these both share a romance that is more mature and they both play the same genre of game.

All in all, both gaming-based dramas are rather mature in their storylines! Although both are not about professional gamers (YAMG's ML is just really good at gaming and picking up mechanics) they are both about romance that happens through gaming in some sense. Also both MLs are seen as cold but both have a hidden reserved nature and lack the ability to sugarcoat their true feelings on topics. Both FLs are just amazingly strong individuals who don't allow anyone to bully them.

Also both novels are amazing! If you want to read some good novels look up "You're Beautiful When You Smile" and "You're My Glory". Both novels stuck to me after I read them.
