I loved the character of Hui Seong while watching Mr. Sunshine. He was a carefree, cheerful person who was happy with the little things. He was artistic and loved poetry and flowers. I compare Hee Tae to him because of these character traits. I love such people, even if they are not strong.

Kim Jong Kook and Haha, although different shows, great for a lot of laughs and humor.

Both show the rise and fall of a relationship.
Both have an extremely unexpected ending that changes how you view the entire movie.
Both have beautiful and intentional cinematography.

Both shows have a FL under a time constraint (100 days in DAYS to save her life and 49 days in HBM to remain human) and deal extensively with life/death, unfairness of the gods, and how the relationships among families or close friends change when someone is gravely ill or dead. That being said while both shows are fantasy, DAYS is very obviously romance, and HBM is not. The illness/death plots of both make both shows very sad.

Both about people in their youths on a trip where they get to spend time together and form friendships/relationships.

-Both FL prefers to live alone because of troubled past.
-Both FL attend therapy sessions.

Both the plots revolve around the fact that the main leads switch bodies.
Both the MLs are arrogant.

- Female leads are both played by the same actress
- Female leads character are both talkative and naive (unaware of their surroundings in like a cute way hehe)
- Rich man/poor woman tag
- Cold man/warm woman tag
- Business tag
- Both involve moments where FL and ML are bickering (funny and cute)

-Star-crossed lovers
-Oh Man Seok's character again tries to separate the said star-crossed lovers, by playing a vile, creepy, villainous govt. agent all over again.
-A+ level of acting, will spot some veterans in both the shows.
-Accented/ Dialect Korean: YoM (Jeolla Satoori) versus CLoY (NK accent). Sounds *very* different from the Dialect spoken in Seoul (90% of k-dramas)
-Vintage fashion!!! <3 <3
-Amazing Soundtrack!
-Backdrop of Military Dictatorship: YoM (during the 80's in South Korea) and CLoY (present day, in North Korea). So lots of police patrolling, small-town/ semi-urban settings, curfew, random 'kidnappings' by govt. agents, etc.
-The MLs have a political/ arranged marriage planned for (aka, has a 'fiancée') but not interested in her at all.
-The FLs are pretty much 'stuck' and they wish to get out of the situation/ country: YoM (the FL wishes to leave SK to study abroad for Germany, but can't) & CLoY (FL is stuck in NK trying to get back home to SK)
-Both 'romances' have a tacit understanding that their togetherness is only a matter of time before they have to be separated (angst... yes)
-Overall vibe of CLoY is rom-com with angsty, serious melo in parts, whereas YoM is a melo sprinkled with sweet, vintage romance. Lands differently, but overall... very similar vibes.
-While CLoY has Seri's ducklings (the 4 adorable NK soldiers)... YoM has the two baby-brothers, and the two nice soldiers who bring in the cute :D

Both dramas were set during a turbulent time in South Korea.
The leads' love for each other are pure and unconditional.
You'll love each of the main characters despite their flaws.
Right from the beginning, both dramas were hinting of the possibility of not getting a happy ending.
And both of their endings are very realistic to the point that you won't imagine any other better endings for the dramas.
