Three daughters, one mom, lots of issues that arise as the daughters are growing up, fall in love and start creating their own families. Both drama have a strong single mother figure who does everything she can to provide for her kids and be there when in need. Though both drama are generally heartwarming, they both have many sad and heartbreaking moments especially towards the end.

Marriage, marriage, marriage. You get the point. Both drama deal with marriage and creating a new family, getting in-laws and growing up from a dating couple to a married one and how marriage in general changes the dynamics of a relationship. Though Glorious Day is more family focused and Can We get Married? leans more on the romance, the feeling the both give is pretty similar.

Both drama are focusing on mother-daughter relationships and the impact of the mother's presence in their kids' life. The romance plotline is one the background. A lot of growing up and many realizations about the passage of time. And there are many similarities over how the ending was handled so if you have watched either drama you know what to expect.

Family drama with lots of ups and downs. Remarriage is theme in both drama though handled in a very different way. Where Five Enough focuses on creating a new family, Life is Beautiful is the result of it. Of course there is romantic plot in both and they both deal with past trauma issues and family dynamics.

It's similar in the context of holding trials and showing legal procedures. The investigation of mysteries and relevant politics are also similar.

It has a similar atmosphere to it that will make you feel cosy and tackles a couple who can almost never see each other due to work and miscommunication.

Overall themes are different but romance vibe, chemistry and relationship between ML/FL are similar:

*age gap (older woman)
*ML was in love/adored her for 10 years,
*ML adores her so much and actor plays that so good, he looks at her with such eyes... chemistry is so strong (mostly because of ML and his facial expressions)
*FL is linked to big/emotional moment for ML when he was child/teen, after that she becomes his kind of idol and purpose, after that for long time (10 years) he wants and dreams to meet her and be with her, be equal with her.
*FL is really strong woman, independent, successful, quite individual (not standard strong FL)
*ML is young but quite mature, serious, priced and loved from people around him.
*though FL is strong woman, who doesn't much need to be protected by men, and ML is younger he anyway wants to protect her all the time, his biggest purpose is her wellbeing.
*for long time ML hides from FL how big was his crush for so long time, that h was thinking about her all the time for 10 years.

Two male leads. One a rather fierce and sometimes bad tempered character. He often considers violence as a good way to solve problems. Even doesn't refrain from killing in some cases. The other one is a kind hearted and very empathic person only want to live his life serving people as a doctor and take care of his little sister.

Stumbling upon one another in a quite odd situation. Bad start for them as they have very contradicting points of view. Like the main characters in The Untamed.

They fast grow to like and care for each other, complement each other. The chemistry between the leads is over the top and depicted in the most intense way I've seen in Chinese dramas so far. Their relationship is very dynamic, taking the viewer along in the course of the drama. After a considerably short time they already showed that they unconditionally trust each other (a small setback aside). Even when one seemed to be betrayed on such a high level by the other, the trust between them isn't shaken in the slightest. They will risk their live for the sake of each other and the acting of both, Mao Zi Jun and Yi Bo Chen, was so authentic and convincing.

The female "lead", Chu Ran, isn't just there to pass censorship. Her character contributes to the story. She is just lovable.

The plot has some surprising twists and the main villain's character was written in a really really good way.

If you've loved The Untamed, especially for the chemistry of the leads, it's highly possible that you will fall in love with Killer and Healer.
