Both dramas depict the relationship between the Han and the Khitans, and cross-culture romance, but in different countries. One takes place in Song Dynasty, while the other takes place in Liao Dynasty.

They are extremely similar as they were both written by the same person, aside from the fact that the male lead for both is Lee Jong Suk. The plot is pretty much the same in the two shows: the male lead has a tragic past that that fights for justice or revenge.

Very similar storyline. Both stories show a female ghost who has amnesia and the two villains have pretty much the same background.

Treasure hunting aka gold finding dramas seems such a rare in kdrama history, isn't it. As Vincenzo, EIA is also one of the funniest and most interesting drama in 2000s, but EIA clearly run for treasure hunting and friendship. They also have crazy and funny thugs. Give it a try <3

Very similar in terms of theme and feelings when watching both of these dramas

- Office/Work place romance
- Both have Park Min Young as the leading actress
- Both share a connection through childhood
- Both very fun and light hearted watch

There's just one case that well built. The one serial case has a deeper truth hiding behind it. The leads at first didn't trust each other, and even one of them might be the suspect. As we continue, the drama will reveal the truth with good storytelling.

Is it dark? Not as dark as Beyond Evil, but it is.
Is it makes us use our detective brain? Totally.
The difference of Stranger is there are prosecutors related.
Still, it's worth watching tho.

The fact that people begin to act by themselves in a world written by someone else reminded me of Extraordinary you

It's a korean thriller drama. Since woh start with a trio, so as the guest & the start of their journey isn't easy but they stay together till the end. Viewer especially feel connected with the 2 male friendship. It feel special & real, we cry.. Trust me, we cry when the time come. They don't need to flirt, it's the opposite. Totally RECOMMEND!!! (^o^)

Both are from movie series Heart Abuse Love Story, they have the same story only with minor changes but different actors plays a roles.

The theme of friendship and rivalry is similar. The ping pong life seems much better in terms of story but romance is a side theme. While in my mr mermaid, romance is more.
Ping pong life focuses on the challenges faced by the players as well as how they overcome it. However my mr mermaid'sstory revolves around the romance and second is the friendship.

A similar story where a Chinese spy has to do his mission though with a little more action in drama.

So both Lang's character and le jun are TOXIC there is no doubt about it. But Lang's character Thong doesn't even have some redemption arc like Le jun getting shot and all for her, Thong is total garbage

Okay so Tor only acts toxic to the FL. But spoiler alert - Lang's role is ACTUALLY FUCKED UP AND TOXIC. HJS is dark but the darkness of FGP is way more REAL AND DISTURBING so watch at your own risk. He's basically completely IRREDEEMABLE Like the Lee jun kai guy but even LJK at least get 'redeemed' by almost dying for her Lang's character is trash toxic till the end. And of course Tor and Lang do their roles so well and look dreamy
