Recommendations

Very different Worlds, but they are both about talented young People finding their (professional) Way.
Both have a sweet and healthy Love-Story.
And stories really explore what their career-choices mean to them and how to live a good Life for yourself.

While "Record of Youth" is a lot more toned down and thoughtful , they both touch upon similar themes and they are both about the entertainment business:
- Love Story/Triangle between Star and Employee
- look behind the scenes (be it acting, singing etc.)
- people in their twenties trying to achieve their dream
- interesting family dynamics
- likeable Manager without a big Agency
- Dad that is at first unsupportive of Dream

- about the Music Industry, Idols and Agencies
- Love Triangle between two Idols and an Agency Employee (although the Love Story is barely touched upon in "Top Management")
- both have Cha Eun Woo playing an Idol (but he plays only a small roll in both dramas)
-Small Sci-fi Aspect: "Hit the Top" has time travel and "Top Management" has sightseeing

Both have:
- MC that both have hidden/changed identities
- a Love Story were the MC are thrown together/get married right away without
knowing/liking each other - but come to care about each other as the story evolves
- a King/Prince that wants to change the system to be less corrupt
- stong, spunky female Lead and somewhat quirky ML
- a protecitve older Brother

They play both in the World of Idols, with a focus on their Agency and Managers.

Both have a Love Triangle where the two ML are Idols.

Both have a Group that starts from the bottom.

Both have Character that is talented in composing Music.

Both movies have a main lead that lives someone else's life for a while and change for the better by being given a second chance/gift.

Both have a Character that can see parts of the future, but doesn´t quite know how to influence it - this plays a bigger part in "While you were sleeping"

They both have a undramatic Love Triangle, that resolves itself.

Same director so the style comes off pretty similar. Both are slow to start and visually stunning movies- one is very colorful while the other is grey monotone.

Both are pretty similar. But in Psych-Hunter he is trying to find out who he is or someone is trying to help them. Also, spoiler both are trying to find out what happened that led to all these incidents. Very similar, just different time periods.

Interesting fantasy world from novel. Young actress and actor. Magic diagrams and different sects with distinct specialties. FL lead character is serious, don't really get a chance to show emotions. Whole drama is done in studio and with green screen.

Both are about guys who didn't know each other, and are very different from each other, but because of unexpected events, become friends. Also, in Pu-Pu-Pu, the three boys throw away everything and start working as part-timers while in Beach Boys the two guys leave their jobs and life behind to work in a Hostel. Therefore, I reckon the two dramas are quite similar.

- Truth comes out in the end

They both have something to do with the protagonists future in a way. Both have a high school setting they give me a similar feel

Although revolves around the military and another around prison both dramas are very similar regarding the relationship between the male leads and their respective girlfriends. Especially the story of Seo Dae Yeong x Yoon Myung Ju (DOTS) and Kim Je Hyuk x Kim Ji Ho (Prison Playbook) is very very similar.
