Both are censored same-sex adaptations.

Both fall in the mystery genre.

Both are historical dramas.

And both are wuxia.

The same genres: fantasy and historical.

Also, the main target / audience for both dramas is youth / new adult.

Also, similar use in CGI. The CGI in both dramas is in nearly every scene.

And they both have a setting / world that never existed in history, but was created for the purpose of the drama.

--both dramas have the main character seeking revenge on an injustice that they faced.
--at the end of the dramas, they both realized that there's more to it than just revenge and that it wasn't as satisfying as they thought that it would be.
--both main characters faced several hardships and adversities before they could become successful and establish themselves

They both have an idol moving in with a regular person. Although Love Online: Extra is bromance because of Chinese censorship but the 2 leads have really good chemistry like in HIStory: Stay Away from Me

It's not around a crime or a murder but...
This drama explores multiple aspects of marriage, to cheating, to divorce,
I don't really know how to describe that drama it was beautiful

but here's the summary : "Hyun Woo fell in love with Soo Yeon at first sight in college and they have been married for 8 years. He thought he had the perfect family, with Soo Yeon, who is a beautiful wife and a good mother to his beloved son. Then one day, Hyun Woo sees a hotel reservation message sent by a male stranger on Soo Yeon’s phone. Even though he tries not to think about it, proof after proof is revealed, which confirm that his wife is indeed having an affair. Since he firmly believes that he is a good husband and father, he can’t seem to forgive his wife. He blames her for putting the family in danger but then starts thinking, “Have I been a good husband to my wife?” "

There is cheating, crimes but more importantly this drama is blending of the individual cases/stories with a much larger ongoing story.

(it's an adaptation of the English drama but with the Korean touch)

"The story of two married couples in danger of unraveling as the husband and wife find themselves attracted to other people."
It's also about cheating .
but it goes more deep: it's about life, conflicts between responsibility to family and feelings

(it's starts a little slowly so watch a few episodes before giving up)

Like cheat on me, if you can it's a more adult drama involving cheating and murder.
The vibe is really similar i think and until the end we didn't who was the real killer. I highly recommend it?

"Misty revolves around successful news anchor Go Hye Ran (Kim Nam Joo). When she's accused of the murder of a former lover, her estranged husband, Kang Tae Wook (Ji Jin Hee) must step in as her defense lawyer. Let us all pause here to recognize the sheer glory that is the character of Go Hye Ran"

Second Part of It Started with a Kiss. Same relationship and also in medical field. It stars Ariel Lin and Joe Cheng. It's way better than It Started with a Kiss, there's more comedy and improvement with the main leads.
