Almost the story and vibe of the series is same the betrayal, cunningness, back stabbing and intense love, however if you watch the special episode of jack and joker the vibe changes from a positive happy ending like in wicked game to a sad or unstable one
both drama has similar type Nona romance & younger boy older girl trope. Both drama's ML acts same the ML falls first and then harder loves deeper ?
Both are historical dramas within hidden identities. In SRG the ML has a hidden identity in LIM the FL has a hidden identity .
In both dramas the Fl doesnt know the ML's real identity at least in the beginning.
Both involve royalty.
Both have a body guard 2nd ML who is a mysterious character with a hidden agenda and protects the ML.
The romance/ chemistry in LIM is much much better because it Park bo gum and Kim Yoon Jung ofcourse.
Overall LIM is a better show imo but both have very similar vibes.

Similar light-hearted vibe with smart leads investigating murders. A cast of characters who are adorable and you just want to tag along for the ride.
Boon, a struggling hair stylist, flees to Chiang Mai after losing her job and discovering her boyfriend’s betrayal. While at a hot spring, she nearly drowns and is mysteriously saved. When she awakens, she finds herself in the body of Princess Fongnuan, a sickly noblewoman in the ancient Lanna Kingdom. Adapting to her new life, Boon faces the challenges of survival and love, encountering kind Chao Saen Thep, her sister's fiancé, and the stern Chao Mueang Fah. Her unconventional thoughts captivate those around her, bringing a fresh perspective to the kingdom's old ways.
- Both are cute Japanese BL drama's with a simple, fluffy story's and soft school and seaside atmospheres (more so seaside in narakoi, but still)!
- Both also have that sort of "one guy likes the other, but the other is kind of oblivious about it" thing going on.

Although they are very different at first glance, I think they're pretty similar and are meant for similar audience.
MM has elements of horror fantasy sci-fi and Spirealm does as well. Both of them have episodic mysteries and horror that gets pretty wild and exciting. The interpersonal relationships are also pretty similar — I loved the found family in MM and it reminded me of the team chemistry in the Spirealm. Dome and Khatha are also a lot like Ling Jiushi and Ruan Lanzhu. Their bromance is simply filled with so much protectiveness and tenderness amid chaos.
If you loved MM but was frustrated with the lack of good writing and found Dome's character underdeveloped, then The Spirealm is like MM but on a higher budget, better writing and no character gets wasted. The protagonist is also well developed. He does NOT faint every second (I love you dome but yeah) and the CGI, the mysteries and the coherence of the plot is also better but still very similar vibes to MM.
If you loved The Spirealm, I'd also recommend Midnight Museum. But don't expect high quality writng or for it to be a masterpiece. If you go with no expectations, it'll impress you so much more. It's entertaining and the characters and the found family are simply adorable. The bromance is great. The plot is nonsense. The acting is great. The writers room forgot the protagonist existed. But it's entertaining. Like the Spirealm but less tragic. Still, you'll find horror and psychologically interesting scenes. And scenes of just the protagonist tripping into the second male lead's arms, the protagonist being a magnet of curses and the most supportive found family ever.

New Journey to the West is the parent show of 3 idiots in Kenya so if you enjoyed the show on Netflix try out the original show. They follow the same format of:
Travel + mission format.
Both series take the cast abroad and give them games, quests, and challenges that naturally spiral into chaos.
And you will see similar faces through the many seasons of New Journey to the West.
What is nice about both is that there is no heavy storyline — just food missions, sightseeing gone wrong, and hilarious punishments. This makes the shows super easy to binge and laugh along.
