My Roommate is a Detective is set in early 20th century Shanghai where the British and the local mob families rule the city. The story centers around a crime solving trio and similar to The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty, the central character is a genius detective who is sought after for his excellent observation, analytical and deduction skills. The central character loves food and money and prefers an easy going life (but is inevitably dragged into a bunch of cases). The bromance in the two dramas is amazing!

Both have small cute female lead who develops crush on a cold male lead . Gradually male lead also begin having feeling for female lead .

They both have FL time travel to the past. Both have romance. Someday or one day is more complex than parallel love.

They are both fairly short and are Viki originals. I’m not going to give spoilers but they have a similar story layout (Happy, heart break, happy). There is also one character in each one who is trying to hide his feelings for the other main character.

Actually pretty similar outer sketch, as in "ill-fated" relationship of the leads, vile parental figure, who has left a huge impact /trauma on the leads lives and the slowly unfolding healing process - plus overprotective big brother xD

In both dramas the female lead fall in love first
But in intense live things are faster while in a little thing called first love, the romance is a bit dragged but it’s still cute with the tension they have.
They both will make you feel at ease, as theyr easy going and beautiful.

They are both easy to binge watch kind of dramas
Both dramas will make your heart flutter
The male leads are similar to each other, who appears cold but is actually soft on the inside.

Both have awesome chemistry
Both the female leads are linked with fashion, in CYLS, the fl is working to be a designer
While in LTWYA, the fl is a model
The main leads are both sweet to the fl except for the first meeting.
You should defiantly watch it

Both are melodramas with slow pacing, beautiful scenery, and cinematography. They commonly have this dreamy spring-like theme that is mixed with a simple yet heart warming and healing story line. Similarly, the leads for the two dramas have perfect chemistry. The two dramas talk about an established man who lost his first love, then meets a woman whom is somehow connected to his first love, and eventually he develops romantic feelings towards her.

Heroes could easily be compared to any martial arts drama and movie (particularly those starring Jet Li and Donnie Yen, and even Shaw Brothers' production).

There is an almost old school feel about the way Heroes was produced. The archetypal upright and stoic martial arts master, the stereotypical menacing and evil villain, the almost non-stop breathless action sequences, and of course, the final showdown (in the case of the drama, there's plenty of those).

In terms of the time period, production sets, story line and overall looks (half bald with pigtails, shadowless kicks and all), these 2 productions are almost indistinguishable.

Love and betrayal, political upheavals and court rivalries, fierce battles fought at the war front are features shared by these two epic productions.

Filmed in subdued colour palettes, both feature strong protagonists and antagonists whose seemingly endless machinations are played out with frightening deftness and devastating consequences.

Based on historical events, these dramas represent intense viewing that demands your absolute attention.

Both are about a teenage girl contemplating suicide after being singled out and bullied by her classmates.

-I think Tong XiaoYou and Liu Nuan Nuan are so similar. Their personalities are so adorable and lovely.
-If you are a huge fan of rom-com dramas then it might be your choice.

So i know somone did this drama already but its so good so ill tell you the similarities in both of these dramas!!!!
