The storyline is different though has a similar feeling. Both contain the elements of a bodyguard (though Advance Bravely does not have the friend since childhood part), and a rich main lead.

Weir is the male lead and plays a gangster who bullies and eventually marries the female lead. The overly kind female lead is TSTL, and she also has an equally stupid parent who negatively affects her life. The plot is full of cliches and frustration (for the viewers) but somehow manages to have a happy ending.

The comedic timing and awkward moments are very similar. Reply 1988 has the goat noises, while Prison Playbook has a soft whistle track playing whenever there's an awkward moment; you could interchange those 2 sounds and get a similar feeling.
Also some of the characters are very similar such as Taek and Je-Hyeok. Both are like prodigies and very popular (Baduk and baseball) but they aren't ignorant of the ways of the world and rely on others to pull them along.

My princess kept reminding me of pasta while I was watching it. Then I learned that they were done by the same director.
If you want a similar romance drama with the same lovable vibe, and a slowly progressing romance, with good acting cast…
They even have similar music.
Both are very addicting after the first episode.

Both are light politics dramas with some really good laugh-out-loud comedy. They are both fun if you don’t like serious and heavy politics.
All About My Romance is... well ... about romance, and My Fellow Citizens has little only.
