Both have very meaningful, very RELATABLE conversations/dialogues;
such beautiful conversations about life problems that make both a must watch!
Time is a melodrama (that still has some very realistic and relatable moments); BeMelodramatic is more slice of life.

Both have same feeling,
realistic + heartwarming,
multiple relationships and friendships in focus
dialogue-centered dramas with meaningful dialogues about problems in life
Nevermind that one is a 90s jdrama, if you love one you'll love the other, very much recommended to watch both in that case.

Very similar realistic + heartwarming feel, with meaningful dialogues about the problems of life, and about relationships and friendships.
Both really go straight to the heart <3

If you loved the quirky writer female lead Chun Woo Hee in BeMelodramatic...
.....you'll also love her also quirky character in the movie One Day!
Both BM and OD are very heartfelt and realistic (despite the sort of ghost aspect in One Day), that while happy and calming, will also make you cry in some parts

Both show the behind the scenes/making of dramas and shows,
with some cute romantic pairings too.
Same realistic feel (through BeMelodrmatic more realistic and heatfelt of the two imo)

Both include the bts/process of making dramas, as well as relationships, with main lead pairs in both being a writer & pd.
TheKingOfDramas more action-filled and fastpaced, BeMelodramatic more realistic and heartwarming.

Please don't watch similar dramas because you will not be satisfied by it. Put Your Head on My Shoulder has different different theme but motion of love is almost same. You may like it.
Both have the bad boy falling for the good girl troupe, outsiders who want to ruin their relationship, and strong friendships. Both are older dramas so the quality is not the greatest and both have young stars so their acting is... not the best BUT the stories for both are good. Albeit I must say MARS is better story-line wise and does have a batter ending.
Mythical woman with a normal guy . The guys is given a special item that saves their life/ prolongs it
If returned it can kill him .
Both cutey romantic

This two show kind en have same story line but different in some many way. If one one about the novel, the movie quite follow the novel .
The female leads in both cases lives with her sister and sister's husband and falls in love with her brother in law.
Plots are similar with major difference being the language and role reversal with the teacher being the husband the student being the wife.
If you enjoyed my girlfriend is a gumiho then u will enjoy this, because it's very similar the girl is an alien and in the Korean drama she was a gumiho, they both saved the main male lead and took something from the girl etc, just watch it you will understand ????????????I'm so bad at explaining
Both productions show life and love of immigrants in either mainland China (Beautiful Life) or Hong Kong (Comrades). First half of A Beautiful Life is quite similar to Comrades: Almost a Love Story as it features not-quite-romance between a naive and warm-hearted male lead and business savvy female leads.
both shows have fantasy and romance aspect to them.
both shows have interspecies (alien/human) relationships.
