Both are dark fantasy dramas with a focus on telling a supernatural story.
No romance but heavy character depth. Cinematography and CGI are superb in both.
Lastly both are very short GMMTV dramas that leave you wanting more.

A Splendid Match really reminds me of Love Like the Galaxy. Both Gu Jin Zhao and Chen Shao Shang are schemers and will always stand up for themselves. They don’t rely on or wait for their knights in shining armor. Instead, they immediately take matters into their own hands and deal with problems themselves.
Aside from the female leads, the male characters also resemble each other. Both Chen Yan Yun and Ling Bu Yi are the type of male leads who creeps in slowly but surely. They don’t immediately love bomb their female leads but schemes with them, tease them, and help them from afar (when needed). The other male characters also have resemblance, though I won’t elaborate here.

Both pairs carry absolutely peak bromance energy—the same duo effortlessly dominating both series. And honestly, the visuals? They’re both genuinely fine ?
Similar in that the female/male leads are brought up together and love eventually blooms.
In OWW - FL parents die in an accident which forces her to be brought up with the ML parents who are neighbours

Both have the FL that kinda travels back in time to fix her past regrets, and aspire to achieve a better future by working hard, specially in their studies. both have highly intelligent MLs (the genius type) .

Together with Master Mo Ti Zhun and Saintess Han Yue, they become close allies in their battle against the Heavenly Demons. If you enjoyed the dynamic between the main leads in one of these then I think you'll definitely like the other. Both have homoerotic age gap pairings teaming up in the gangster/criminal underworld
Both have a theme of hacking and programming in order to help either clients or victims of crime. Both also have themes of mystery and investigation.
both are historical dramas, but JITP is set much later in the 1500s. If you like female centered dramas, you'll like this one. It is a classic.
Both are set in baekje. KDSBH is set before BOSD. Both have jo hyun jae. historical romance. KDSBH has a bit more idol drama vibes. Both have good music for the most part.
Both are police procedurals with two female leads that initially get on each other's nerves, but move in together and become close over the course of the series. While Duet of Shadows is set in the Republican Era, Sharp Downpour appears to be set around 2010.
Both are contemporary-ish set police procedurals with two female leads that team up to solve cases (and are also looking into a cold case they have a connection to).
