“Jirisan” is so unique and unmatched:
- the mountain is a beautiful character
-the drone footage and outside scenes are a work of art. It shows the beauty and harshness of nature in all seasons.
If you like the actors - Kim Eun Hee’s “Kingdom” uses some of the Same actors
- “Live” is similar in honoring the teamwork and struggles of public servants.
- the park rangers in “Jirisan” were highlighted heroes with struggles
-As are the police officers in “Live”
- Sung Dong Il is a mentor and captain in both series.

First of all let me say that there is nothing quite like “Revelations.”
- the delusions and apophenia
-the VR-type camera shops that let you know how the character is feeling and what they’re seeing.
- if you want to watch something with similar mood, vibe, and intensity - watch Yeon Sang Ho’s associated works. “Hellbound” and “The Bequeathed” are just 2.
- the detectives in “Revelations” and “Rememory” had a similar guilt complex.
- the 2 are similar in that way

love for you and endless summer are built on the same emotional blueprint : two people who fall for each other young, spend years living separate lives before fate throws them back together as adults. both dramas frame it as a healing process where the leads have to work through years of unresolved feelings, unanswered questions, and emotional baggage before they can actually be together.

both the dramas explore the bittersweet nature of second chances. when they meet again, they're no longer the same people who separated years earlier. they carry memories of what they lost, but they also have a deeper understanding of themselves and each other. their reunion is less about recreating the past and more about building a healthier future together.

I actually haven't started to watch My Grandpa is a BL Writer but from the description and title it reminded me BL Metamorphosis

Fujimoto Kodai is the main lead in both japanese bls, but while one is fluffy, other one has more complicated (?) theme

Both of them japanese bl high school settings, they have summer trips and friends to lovers trop, yearning is also always there

They have kind of similar dynamic between the male leads. All I can see is how they value each other so much and some how, the energy is similar also

In both, the male lead dies, the second male lead also likes the girl, the male and female lead meet in school and become best friends. both have that nostalgia feel to it.

Both shows are true comedies. They aren't just cute, they are super funny. Over the top reactions to foolishness. But also each is balamced and not too outrageous.
