Interesting concept

It was cute, wholesome & short.

The concept of falling in love coz of 8.2 seconds of eye contact is interesting.

The mc is adorable and I like that he fell for someone who pursued him in a similar way he pursued others.

Using desserts to solve problems is just so adorable.
I also liked learning about different desserts.

My only complaint is that no one finished the amazing desserts he made for them.
Like imagine someone making you a delicious dessert that relates to your problem to help you & you don't finish it!?!?

I also liked finding out why his secret admirer fell for him. It was so wholesome?

I wish there was more. It was so very short??‍♀️

An adorable show with a stunning cast.

This show was so much fun to watch. Each character was perfectly encapsulated by their actors and the plot, while heavy at times never dragged. There is alot to love in this show, from the romance, to the side couples, to the comedy, to the sometime heavy handed but still great social messaging but what you leave the show with is a big smile and a sense of great fun. The child actor was also very cute and definitely a stand out in the show and the guest stars were all more fun than the last, specifically auntie Cindy. I definitely recommend giving this a watch if you are in the mood for a great family drama.

Inspiring sports film? Nuh-uh, this is a political drama, baby

Did I know anything about sumo before watching Sanctuary? No. Was I even notionally interested in sumo beforehand? Not at all. Did I binge all six hours of this series in one go? Absolutely.

Our protagonist, Oze, becomes a sumo wrestler so he can financially support his dad. He has no emotional investment in sumo nor respect for its traditions and thus is quickly marked as a troublemaker. But don't let the premise mislead you: the sport should not be taken at face value. The power politics of the wrestlers and the vested interests means this series has just as much intrigue as a political drama. It's also just incredibly deeply and darkly funny.

Combine complex power dynamics, high end production (those slow-mo shots are *chefs kiss*), impressive character development, and you find yourself deeply sucked into the rich world of Sanctuary. The episode length times put me off from watching this at an earlier date, but when I did finally hit play, ohhh boy. The plot raced me through all eight episodes in one day,

That said, I can't give a full 10/10. At one stage, the series does teeter dangerously close to cheesy sports movie territory. Despite opinions expressed in other reviews, I think the ending worked well and redeemed the series from its brief foray into inspo-porn.

So yes, I highly recommend giving this series a shot. The blurb doesn't do it justice. I'll end this with a note on Ichinose Wataru's stellar performance. I'd seen him in a support role in the film, The Valley, and was disappointed that he didn't get more screen time – his talent seemed so much larger than his character. With Sanctuary, his acting skills are on full display and he's a wonder to watch. Brilliant work.

God, I've never wanted to kick myself over the head more than i do now. Ugh!! I hate myself for not being patient enough to watch it past the 2nd episode when it was released. I just stopped because the first episode didn't manage to capture attention that much. But last month i saw some clips on ig of MSP and decided to give it another try and I've been obsessed ever since. I've lost count of the amount of times I've re watched it. And i hate myself for not supporting my kids when around the time it was released when i clearly could have if only I'd had little more patience. TRUST ME ON THIS GUYS. You will fall in love with Tinn and Gun's love. Their love is just so pure and heartmelting that u will keep wanting more.

Strong start, average finish

After seeing Perth and Chimon as a side couple in “Never Let Me Go” I didn’t expect much of “Dangerous Romance” – even though the trailer was doing a decent job at attracting attention. To my surprise the first few episodes were okay, even good at times; I enjoyed Sailom outwitting Khang and was kind of impressed with Perth pulling it off as a spoiled rich kid and nasty school bully. Unfortunately this promising start didn’t lead to a fully satisfying middle part of the series (although some attempts were made), while the last 2-3 episodes felt like the production team tried to make the show interesting again. The finale was a predictable, but still messy and rushed conclusion.

Usually I watch BL’s for chemistry, dynamics and tension between the male leads. “Dangerous Romance” has some of that, but not too much. Perth and Chimon are much better here than in NLMG (they actually have some chemistry) and I enjoyed most of what they had to offer. It’s not the level of EarthMix, OhmNanon, Gem4th nor 1stKhao, but it’s decent. Still, given a little more screen time or tweaking the script a bit Marc and Pawin could easily outshine the main couple. The show more than hints at two more couples (View+June and Papang+Pepper), but with 12 episodes they don’t get any development – and, as I often do, I wondered about the merits of including so many characters and couples into one series.

The enemies to lovers plot isn’t new, but it’s development into the script of this series wasn’t the best – mainly because the “enemies” part ends pretty quickly and we get a typical school BL. The other part I disliked about the story was that the bully didn’t have a character arc nor character development: Kang – rather unexpectedly – switched from being a spoiled rich brat who bullies schoolmates to a spoiled rich brat with daddy issues (honestly, judging by his actions, Name was a more interesting character than Kang). Furthermore, Kang did not atone for what he did and enemies turned into lovers in almost no time, with very little hesitation from Sailom and some self-discovery on Kang’s part. Despite them having less screen time, I got the impression that there was more development of Nawa’s character and his relation with Guy, than of Kang.

For a moment, writing this review, I imagined an alternative version of “Dangerous Romance”, with only two couples: Kang+Sailom and Name+Saifah, with both brothers going the enemies to lovers path; a darker story about violence, poverty, crime and love – possibly without a happy end. Now that would have been a dangerous romance. Shame we didn’t get that.

I really enjoyed watching this drama. The friendship was cute and I almost cried. It reminded me that I need to stop and enjoy the teenage life as it will all become a memory to look back to. The drama wasn't centered around only one character. There were times when the main couples were getting boring and things were repitative. Kimhana's character gave it life. Not a single boring episode. I love how they kept the episodes shorts. There is always something with Korean school dramas that makes you want to watch every single one. The drama is not complete but it is one of the best web series.

Simple yet great

I love this show.
I love these characters.
I love how they got together.
I love their love story.
I love their relationship.
I love how they are when they're together.
I love the confession scene.

They delivered a great take on the rivals to lovers & unrequited love to lovers tropes.

It probably has some problems but I don't care & I won't listen to anyone saying anything bad about it. It's basically perfect and I won't entertain any critique saying otherwise.

It's a good show and it deserved its second season.

What red flags? I'm colour blind ~

Before watching the drama, I noticed people are saying how much of a red flag Mizuki is; it is not 100% true.

Sure he may put absolutely out of context rules and regulations but then he never harm Yoh; never neglects, always worry about him, provide everything as promised. They're communication and emotion is somewhat limited; nevertheless it coveys at the end of the day.

I actually love Mizuki's character for he is a man of action and stays true to his words. What's more Yoh is a perfect match for him as he absolutely love everything about him. Which is cute. I wish I have that. (Delulu !)

Their opening soundtrack is nice and catchy while the closing is simply the sweetest as it makes you calmer and appreciate what just happened on the current episode you watched.

Their acting and chemistry is astounding! I truly felt every emotions they have and they're too adorable. And as per usual, I have the need to be with someone after watching Jdorama ~ always. ugh.

For the most part it feels really realistic, and IMO worth the watch!

I won't elaborate too much because most of the other reviews have covered it.

I'll say that I agree with others that it's an overall happy ending if you pay attention to certain things, it is implied they do end up together. My issue with that is... I'm not entirely sure it had to be made a secret to the viewers. I see the "art" in making it a bit of a secret for the viewers. I get that since the couple themselves have picked to be in a relationship in secret, whether because her agency won't let her or simply to avoid the drama of openly dating, they've chosen to also make it a bit of a hidden relationship to the viewers. It's neat... but sometimes you just want to be able to enjoy the "post-story" happy moments of a relationship and we didn't get to see that.

I had major second FL syndrome, Jin Ju is adorable and I can't help but wish they had leaned into the soulmates bit and gone with that twist. I would have been content with the story being about our ML helping our FL past her demons and helping her towards a positive path in her life but them not ending up together as he reconnects with Jin Ju.

I've read some comments about there being toxicity and that really feels like a stretch. If you want a "nothing but perfect people making perfect choices" and dealing with their pasts in the absolute healthiest way possible, the dramas are out there for you. However I reserve a word like toxic for genuinely and consistently shitty relationships marred by people who abuse the love they are given and convince themselves or their partners that they've done nothing wrong or that the person deserved it. That doesn't happen here, there are choices made that hurt someone but there is reason behind it as well as genuine remorse, not followed by repeatedly making the same choices.

This is not a great review I must admit, I'm kind of throwing things at the wall and saying random things, to get back on point:
The drama had a sense of realism, with people making real if not ideal choices in certain moments, and with some good chemistry and acting. I don't think too many will watch this and feel they've wasted their time, but I also don't think it's a "must not miss" watch. It was good, it was entertaining, and although I would have liked a bit more substance at the end in terms of elaborating on the couples final standing, it was a good ending overall.

Realistic about mental health, very informative & good

This is one of the best and most realistic K-dramas I’ve seen in a while!!! This K-drama is realistic about the topic of mental health, what patients experience and the stigma others sometimes have. It is a little quirky at times but I so loved it!!! The visuals are really on point and helps you appreciate what the characters are experiencing vividly. The chemistry between the characters is awesome and the story flows understandably well. Thought I needed OST, romance and fantasy to fit the bill but this one proved me wrong! It reminds me of “Misaeng” (Incomplete Life). Well done by all.

So Much Potential. NC scenes Epic. But....

This series reminds me of Check Out: The Series. A good pilot episode but the series itself just didn't find its way. I liked almost all of the cast until the guest appearance of the MVT Twins. MVT is Motive Village Trash.

I truly despise Motive Village and all their underhanded BS with the 2 Moons Debacle and in my personal opinion anyone in the last part of that series is indeed Motive Village Trash which drops the points down dramatically for me.

I personally will never watch this series again but though the main couple of Sky and Venus was a slow earned relationship I could appreciate the determination to show the pain of people's actions. Venus was scarred by Sky's rejection and he didn't make it easy in reuniting.

The side couple of J and Bomb was so much better to me and those actors sold a great relationship even the arguments and disagreements and the way they worked through them.

The writing here was pretty good and I think it deserves a score of about an 8 but points off for the MVT. Thanks for making their appearance brief but seeing them left a bad taste for me personally. Just My opinion. Worth the watch at least once.

Nonsense romance (with a bit of illegal romance mixed in it)

So... As most people already said it: it started real good but it went down the drain real quick!

First, I think that the fact that Kang's behaviour makes a complete u-turn without really good reasons was one of the reasons the series started to get bad from episode 3. But the thing that really upset me was when Kang was suddenly in love with his childhood friend, Pimfah. There were no previous signs of him liking her and it was so sudden that it felt so out of place. Contrary to some people, I wasn't really surprised that Pimfah was interested in Sailom because she's kind of shown signs a bit before (even though, those signs can easily be understood as just her being nice), but Kang's feelings for Pimfah were out of nowhere. Especially when he already showed signs of jealousy towards Sailom (but I was apparently wrong...). Then, Sailom confesses he likes Kang and Kang suddenly likes him? That was so freaking weird (also, I don't really like the fact that Sailom liked him before and just because he gave him an umbrella... I know he's young but still).

Second, I don't have anything against Chimon, I thought he played his part good in all the dramas I've watched with him but we can all agree that he's not good with romance. Everytime Kang and Sailom kissed, I was silently (or not) cringing in front of my screen and I pitied Perth for doing his best at carrying the romance scenes. Perth did all the job and he's one of the best thing that saved this drama from falling further down (even though his role was not the best - I mean, Kang that rejects Sailom for something that HIS BROTHER has supposedly done was pretty sh*tty of him).

Third, and I'll finish with that, GMMTV needs to stop romantising teachers with students!! It's the second time that happens in less than a year (last time was in The Eclipse). I sensed romance between Pimfah and Napdao as soon as Napdao appeared in the story and I really hoped I was wrong but no... they definitely made Pimfah having a crush on Napdao, which is not bad because I'm sure we all had a crush on one of our teachers when we were at school (I did) but what is bad is that Napdao is accepting those feelings and kind of reciprocating. And they tried to cover the whole thing at the end by making her say that she's not their teacher anymore but, I'm sorry, it's still very bad. And of course, like in The Eclipse, the teacher joins the student's trip. I hate that...

Anyway, watch if you want to watch, you're the only judge of what you like.

The best Bl??

"OMG, let me tell you all about the amazing Thai BL series "My School President" with the adorable Gemini as Tinn and the swoon-worthy Fourth as Gun! This show is such a treat for BL lovers like us. The story revolves around their captivating journey of friendship, romance, and self-discovery in a school setting. Gemini and Fourth have this incredible chemistry onscreen that will make your heart skip a beat! Their performances are so heartfelt and genuine, it's impossible not to get emotionally invested in their characters' lives. You'll find yourself rooting for their relationship every step of the way.

But it's not just about the main leads—I have to mention the fantastic supporting cast too! They bring so much depth and charm to the show, making each scene more enjoyable. The friendships depicted in the series are simply heartwarming, emphasizing the importance of having a strong support system. The storyline itself is a perfect blend of love, friendship, and personal growth.

Visually, "My School President" is absolutely stunning. The vibrant cinematography beautifully captures the youthful energy of the characters and highlights the school setting. The production values are top-notch, creating a visually captivating and immersive viewing experience.

One thing I really appreciate about this series is how it tackles important themes such as self-acceptance, identity, and the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals in a school environment. It provides a powerful message about embracing who you are and standing up against societal expectations.

Overall, "My School President" is an absolute gem in the Thai BL world. It's an enchanting series that will make you smile, laugh, and swoon. If you're a fan of adorable romances, heartwarming friendships, and stories of self-discovery, this is a must-watch for you. Trust me, you won't be able to get enough of Gemini and Fourth's chemistry. Get ready for a rollercoaster ride of emotions!

I hope this review does justice to the incredible series "My School President."

I think it was really good series <3

I think it was really good series <3
The drama made me think soo much for every minute I was watching. The tensions between the main leads (wi ha joon, ji Chang wook , Im se mi, Bibi) it was really interesting and thrilling. This series really has a good story line , although you will think it pretty obvious but actually it wasn't!

The show was mostly focused on the development between our undercover officer junmo and the drug dealer jung gi cheol which is really nice to watch ...
The action scenes were just Chef's Kiss , they were soo nicely directed and acted cuz while watching the bloody scenes I was feeling soo tensed therefore it didn't got me bored also ...
I would recommend this drama to the people who like to watch action scenes and yes this drama will teach you the real meaning the word 'Betrayal'

SPOILER ALERT (READ THIS ONLY WHEN YOU HAVE WATCHED THE DRAMA) I think people are targeting the female lead too much but why don't they see that junmo was also helping Lee hae ryeun to escape the country. And also the ending where people thought that the divorce scene was unnecessary but it was really important as they should pay for their sins for playing with someone's heart then it doesn't matter what your job is !!

I really enjoyed this drama, if you love JCW then you should definitely give it a try ?

The best cdrama

I love it so much and am hoping for those two to make an another cdrama again like historical that has a happy ending. I love the ending how he remembers her and so does she. I really wanted them to end up in heaven in stead of earth. This is apparently the CDRAMA I was looking for. Ding yuxi fit the role and he’s perfectly good for any role. Hope ding yuxi keep on acting and be healthy. I love it so much and am hoping for those two to make an another cdrama again like historical that has a happy ending.
