Gyu Jung is a 29-year-old fledgling writer. She also works part-time at her mother's side dish shop and still asks for money from her parents. Her personal life isn't in much better shape as she is seeing her best friend's boyfriend. Gyu Jung then decides to write a novel about a vampire. This is most likely her last shot at writing a successful novel. A strange man named Nam Gul appears and rents a room at her father's lodging home. The strange man stops by the side dish shop at night and requests custom made dishes from Gyu Jung. He specifies that all of the side dishes must not contain garlic. Gyu Jung becomes convinced he is a vampire. (Source: AsianWiki) Add Synopsis In Portuguese

I had been desperately trying to find this movie for a long time and finally watched it. I am a huge fan of horror romantic comedies, but this movie fell short for me. It was much more focused on the life of the main female character who just seemed to randomly have a vampire (or is he?) character around. The brief bits of romantic interaction with him were tantalizingly few in my opinion. The viewer is instead forced to observe family interactions and friend drama over a crappy guy instead. It was like it tried to do too much. It wanted to be a heartfelt family drama, or a personal growth story instead of embracing it's vampire theme.
The acting was generally bad also, except for the main female actress. The mysterious male lead was a cringefest.
I did finished it without too much struggle, and while the ending did give us some answers, it seemed to be starting a whole other story which we will never get to know about. I wouldn't recommend it to someone unless they are a huge vampire fan and I have no desire to rewatch it.
