Both were set in a mental hospital. Both portrayal of the characters are amazingly done. Both can give you that smile after some weird scenes they come up.

Both are set in a mental hospital and have a wide range of characters. Shoot My Heart is about bromance while I'm a Cyborg, But That's Ok has romance. Still they are both movies about healing and helping each other.

Both the movie and the drama involve a psychological setting and have absolutely great acting. As different the dealing with the mentally ill is, hope resonates in both.

Even though the setting is completely different, they give off a similar vibe and both movies show emerging friendships between a unlikely group of people.

Two men bonding struggle in life, to survive, to live. The reality they were in were harsh. The bromance were very strong. Heart touching movies

both are set in a mental institute with a normal person being wrongly placed in there by a loved one, although 'insane' is a mystery thriller and a bit more intense and has stronger themes of mental and physical abuse
