Mi Kyeong is just released from prison. She is a stranger to the outside world, having no home or family. She decides to take a train and head south. While on the train, Mi Kyeong notices an advertisement for Hana Island. The ad portrays Hana Island as the last paradise on Earth, with lush trees and beautiful sunshine. Mi Kyeong then decides to visit Hana Island.
Once Mi Kyeong arrives on Hana Island, she is immediately disappointed. The island is desolate and appears far from any type of paradise. Nonetheless, she takes a job in a cafeteria on the island. She then meets Il Ho, who works as an elementary school teacher. He has a pure character and makes a favourable impression on Mi Kyeong.
On the island, there is Hwa Ran who is a kid always hiding in the mountains. She blames her mom for always bringing strange men to their house. Mi Kyeong has had a similar past as Hwa Ran and befriends the young child. There is also Ah Ram, who listens to the same songs all day while recounting her sad memories.
Meanwhile, Mi Kyeong slowly opens her heart to Il Ho. Will Mi Kyeong discover paradise?

This movie seems to be a bit different from others. It's a really good story about new beginnings. And i definitely recommend it to everyone! I was really surprised when i didn't find any reviews or comments about this movie.
All the actors were amazing. Kim Haneul is one of my favorite korean actresses so probably she's one of the reasons why i watched this movie in the first place. And i wasn't disappointed. I also have to mention Kim Yoojung. She's young but amazing!
And about music.. All the songs were also really good. They were better than i thought they would be.
Rewatch value is 7/10, because usually i don't rewatch movies. But if i were bored then yeah, i would watch it again because it's a nice movie.
9 points out of 10.

This was just a waste of my time. Its not a bad movie its just kim ha neul once again has disappointed me. She tries too hard to look sympathetic even when she laughs or cries doesnt feel realistic. She did that with the drama "a gentleman's dignity" the man on the other hand i liked. I watched this movie coz i watched him in " the man who can't get married" he was hilarious.
Anyways in this show hes a bit of a nerd who falls for an ex convict and it takes him like the 1st half hour of the movie before he gets the guts to talk to her. The little girl and the other minions were good. Its just overall boring and a one time thing.
