WORTH IT.
This is one of those films where when you finish watching, you know you enjoyed a good story. A genuinely sweet tale of love, dreams, saving the world, and fighting for what you love most, this is a great watch for an evening in with friends or by oneself. What I enjoyed the most about this film is its devotion to good writing. In my experience, a lot of films that have to do with superheroes fall flat in their writing, they hype up the action but leave us without any substance; this film is not that.An even balance of romance, comedy, action, and coming of age, this film carries the viewer through to the end. The casting directors did a phenomenal job at putting the right people in the right places. I don't think anyone else could have done it half as well!
This isn't to say that there are no frustrating parts though. Where the majority of the plot is sound, there seems to be some loopholes in regards to Dr. Cube and Sonic, mainly, the timeline. We aren't given the answer, but as supporting characters to our protagonist's growth, it's an inconvenience that doesn't make viewing difficult.

The casting director snapped lmao
This movie was definitely worth the wait! A Choo is the kind of film you can watch with the rest of your family & they'll actually keep their eyes glued to the screen-even if they don't watch Taiwanese films. I could imagine A Choo clicking well with Marvel & even Rocky fans too lol The plot is original enough while also successfully sprinkling in superhero references everyone can understand and laugh at. The squeaky-clean special effects really let the movie jump out at you & brings it to life! And oh my goodness.. the casting choices... AMAZING. Truly an A-1 ensemble cast; I'm sure you'll notice atleast a handful of seasoned actors throughout this whole film. The Acting
Everything about this Movie touched my heart ❤️ the movie really screamed "even if they don't love you back always fight for them no matter what because in the end it will be worth it" even tho it ended how I didn't want it to end I still loved it, even the superheros in the movie played a keyrole. Everything really was put together nicely, but I swear y'all could have ended it to where I wouldn't cry 😭😭 y'all had me in tears at 11:43 at night. I wish it could have ended a different way but at least he got to hear that last word to what he wanted "yes". Yes is all he ever wanted to hear, his true love saying yes as he left the world as someone who saved her. Na but Flash 😭 y'all didn't have to do my man like that 💀Was this review helpful to you?

Antihero meets superhero meets childhood sweetheart... this movie gives longing a new face as well as makes a pretty good job redefining the term hero. In this drama we get to see a beautiful combination of friendship as well as surviving tough circumstances and fighting for ones dream.I love how the hero in this movies biggest achievement is the ability to to take a punch or 1000 and still stand up. As well as how well everything in the movie is sown together in the end. So keep your ayes open while watching, details matter more than you may think. The (anti) hero of this movie is just the sweetest guy ever that will surely make you sympathise with him and want to protect him from harm.
All in all sweet, painful and a tad emotional. definitely worth a watch but not a masterpiece.

Low stakes movie
Low stakes movie with a very questionable ending. It had a predictable storyline which is not a bad thing but the ending leaves a lot to be desired. Didn’t seem to go with the happy go lucky vibe of the rest of the story.Acting was okay, I’ve seen much worse. Ariel Lin was good, the two main guys were alright. Louis koo was okay and Vaness was the usual over the top villain with some evil cackles. The cgi was not too bad.
Wasn’t sure about the music as i didn’t notice that there was music in the film besides the ending song which I didn’t listen to.
Overall enjoyable mindless movie.

Nice Plot. Definitely worth watching
First of all, I watched this because of Ariel Lin. And as the movie goes on, I found it interesting. I enjoyed how they blended animation in the movie. The effects were great also. Overall production is great. The cast performed well. Their acting was great since we all know that Ariel Lin is well known actress already but the leads did well too (it was my first time to watch the male leads). It was a well-rounded movie of action, romance, and comedy. There was never a dull moment in the movie. The plot is interesting so it is worth a watch.Was this review helpful to you?
