The true attraction to this movie is SuJu. Obviously if you are a Super Junior fan or ELF then this is a beloved cult classic, but objectively the story is a little weak and for many of the boys it is one of their first acting jobs ( for those boys in the group who have truly pursued that career you can see much improvement in their later roles than the feeling you get from them in this one). Don't get me wrong its fun, and pretty hilarious at points but actual enjoyment here is if you love SUPER JUNIOR. If that is the case then this is a must see.

So did very much enjoy this movie a lot, but I feel like you have to be a Super Junior fan to enjoy this movie to it's full capacity. I mean, this is a really silly story and the plot is not really that deep at all. But at the same time, for a Super Junior fan, that's the humor behind it. The fact this popular boy band made a silly movie is just fun!

However, if you are NOT a fan, that's a horse of a different color. I guess you could enjoy it for the humor, but keep an open mind. This is a movie about a mystery man flinging poop at high school students. So you can't really go into this movie hoping for a lot of depth and meaning. If anything, there might be a slight hint of meaning about the Korean education system.. but not really. Or at least I don't think they tried to do that, but if someone REALLY wants something more to the movie then good-looking boys and poop... then sure why not.

I really liked this movie and even showed it to some friends, but again we are Super Junior fans. So that's a big reason as to why we enjoyed it so much.

film lucu ala super junior

As a huge ELF from 2011 onward, I felt compelled to watch this due to the overwhelming amount of characters being cast using Super Junior members. That being said, I watched this movie at the nice age of 15 years old.

The plot line is catchy, even for its more juvenile audience, but it isn't necessarily something I'd find as much interest in, even now at almost the age of 20, in my coming years. It does its job.

The acting I could say was mediocre. The lot of them are primarily K-Pop singers, after all, but they did surprise me in how well, overall, as a composite, the movie turned out to be. Hyun Bin level acting? Of course not, but if you're watching this movie, you're probably not expecting that to begin with.

The music, although a bit biased as I do love the group musically, was good and fit well with the movie and its plot as the scenes progressed.

Overall, the movie is great for light comedy and high school level jokes. A good watch for any K-Pop fans or those who indulge in genres relative to school and dance. :)

New k-pop fans might not know, but here was a time when Super Junior's popularity was such that their agency must have decided to create a product for the silver screen solely for the sake of fanservicing.

Today is not unusual to find idols acting on virtually every single k-drama production, but I guess they were the pioneers. And they were the pioneers in a time when k-pop was still innocent and popular in Asian countries but not yet around the rest of the planet. I have the feeling that these days this type of movie would be unthinkable. K-pop has come to a stage where it takes itself too seriously and idols are more pressured to being capable of doing anything in terms of entertainment.

This movie is just Super Junior being Super Junior. Every member being himself. Or at least what fans expect everyone of them to be according to their public personae.
If you're a k-pop fan this contextualization wasn't necessary and you're going to enjoy this either the reviews are good or not.

The best? The nonsensical, scatological plot, Kim Heechul being... Kim Heechul, Kang In and that panda mascot from the judo team.
The worst? The fact that in the end the story has a moral. Not that I'm against it per se, but you can't lecture high school teenagers about having more self-confidence and spend the rest of the movie calling Shindong "fatso". Whatever.
Also, I expected more screentime for Yesung as a charismatic rocker.
Sadly, youngest member Kyuhyun couldn't take part in the film because he was recovering from the injuries he got in a serious car accident. It would have been interesting to see what his role would have been.

Anyways, it won't hurt to watch this. It's overall an endearing divertimento.

Of course, a must watch for Super Junior cast. To say that the cast was bad would be wrong. This was a cast of beautiful, sexy guys with little to decent talent. But the point of this movie was nothing else but to give us more of the lovely members of Korean idols of Super Junior, which I love very much. The story was funny but lame. The SuJu's rather clumsy acting was so funny I laughed my way through the movie. It was a nice Sunday night watch but nothing more. I missed Kyuhyun and Leeteuk, although the letter appeared or was rather credited at the end as a mascot.  The music was okay as expected for this guys. Sadly I would not watch this movie again.

Saruman is a fan of Super Junior, especially Kyuhyun, therefore.. approved-ish!

I enjoyed this movie. The story was funny and engaging, and I was pleasantly surprised by the acting from the Super Junior boys. There wasn't anyone I thought was terrible. But I cannot tell a lie. The ending was a let down. When the perpetrator was revealed, I was more then a little disappointed. It just didn't work for me.

And LOL at the filmmakers blurring out all of the poop. Was that just a stylistic choice, or were they legitimately using poop and the powers that be in Korea didn’t want audiences to see it?

I’m not sure I want to know.
