At first, I watched it for Yaya. I'd seen a few episodes of another dramas that she starred in such as Game Rai Game Rak and Akkanee's Heart. Then, after seing James and falling in love with him I confess the story itself didn't matter much. I just wanted to finally see the main couple get together. I mean, they're just too gorgeous.

There's nothing great or unique about this show. I must say, though, that it served its purpose of entertaining me. I'm not that demanding about the shows I watch, my main criteria is to like at least one of the main characters, so that I have someone to root for along the watching journey. In this case, I liked both.

The main problem for me was the amount of extremely childish fights between our main couple. It was pretty much clear they had attraction and cared about each other, but were too imature to be honest and properly communicate their feelings. I would have no problem with it if those fights lead to some progress on their relationship but it started getting exausting since almost every time it just lead to more misunderstadings. Both were too proud and stubborn... Though I liked that most of the time, Neung was the one who would give in. Hehe.

Well, it was fun. And short.

8/10 for me.

The story was good and everything, I really loved seening them bicker, but in the end it draged a lot, Like I was very frustated to the point that I just skipped to the end and the the main female lead still was being stubborn even in the last ten minuetes of the drama, like girl just say that you are going to get married with him and kiss him and let this shit be over  with,

The begining was great but I just didn't like how the end it dragged, at least it's a "happy ending"

I felt that this is one of the few lakorns that doesn't make me blood boil that much. Thai dramas usually have so many irritating characters that sometimes I have to pause the drama and cool myself down before I could continue. Although, there were still annoying characters but not to the point that will make me clench my teeth.

Next, one of the downsides is that their bickering part is way too much (though there were only 12 episodes) but probably I just felt that they could have more sweet scenes after they got together. Just not enough for me.

Still, overall it's a lakorn that makes me want to rewatch again soon (though I have just finished watching it).

I watch this drama only for James Jirayu and Yaya.
i actually love some part of the drama; like the scenery, the family, the good people around the main leads.
but the misunderstanding between the main leads because of some villains are too much.
i feel like i skip a lot of scenes because i couldn't bear it anymore.
the khun song character especially. she is super toxic omg. i hate her so much.
i wish i could see james ji and yaya in another drama that is more happy than this one.

I enjoy watching Yaya. Her character's stubbornness is quite frustrating. If the writer & director wanted me to the frustration, it worked.

Nong Ying is a very beautiful little lady. She was endearing to watch. Her eyes are big & beautiful.

The market owner is hateful. Me, personally, I wanted her to actually & literally realize the harm she caused her family. Do I sound vengeful?! Oops. Oh, well.

Of course the main male lead is a cutie. Has a sweet mischievous smile.

I believe the name is Mae Pim, Neung's nanny/ housekeeper is a fun character.

My guilty pleasure

I just started watching lakorns recently and this was my 3rd. I saw Kleun Cheewit and Game Sanaeha prior this, and this is my favorite so far. Most reviewers were annoyed with the constant bickering and that their sweet moments (realization that they like each other) came towards the end. I, on the other hand, enjoyed the ML chasing the FL (albeit maybe subconsciously) for most of the episodes. It was funny to watch how he tries to extend the time he has with her/make each moment last longer and how he would constantly seek her out even if it was just to annoy her. I do not have a problem with FL playing hard to get either. That for me is self respect. It doesn't matter if she likes the guy, she still needs to be treated right and respected before she gives in. The female lead's family dynamics e.g. supportive siblings were a joy to watch as well.
The negatives for me would be the annoying mother and daughter tandem, and I didn't care much for the side love stories of FL's siblings.
If you like Cinderella stories, multiple guys chasing one girl and very good looking leads then this one is for you.

It has great story, but i cant believe that both Hayairat and Anawat spent the whole 12 episode quarreling and arguing, and at the last 5 minutes of the end episode, they decided to stop and finally made up. i was even speechless that i spent my time watching how they bicker all the time. and the misunderstanding,,, really,, i was really annoyed everytime there is a misunderstanding because everytime they encounter one, they become really stupid to realize real truth. Although most of the time they i could see how p'Neung love P'Pum and understand why he teases her every time, but i never suspect that she also have feelings for him until that accident. She really is good at hinding her feelings, Good job Yaya for the great acting,, I am looking forward to see one of her another great dramas. i was shock when i found out that Yaya is so young but she really is a great actress.

Wholesome and Cute Romance

This is a very wholesome drama with plenty of hand holdings and fake kisses. It also has an unbelievably large number of very likable and kind characters. This is not a very angsty drama with a lot of intrigues, back-stabbings, etc.; the villains here are misunderstandings and non-communications. I guess if our FL and ML only listen to their own heart and each other, and not to others with evil intent, there wouldn’t be a drama. For a period drama, it is done pretty well: the setting, the props, the wardrobe, make-up. Towards the last 3-4 episodes, it starts to drag with a lot of flashbacks to conversations that happened a few minutes prior. At some point near the end, I screamed many times at the screen because they just dragged out too long the story line of trying to get the FL to admit her love. This drama is a cute, pleasant, and enjoyable watch.

i only started watching this because i love yaya sm, i loved her character but i still honestly had higher hopes on her character (to be stronger), but since this was set in an older period i guess i hv to understand a few parts. the biggest downside is the male lead not wanting to believe in anything she says but believes in baseless rumors lol, andddd! he abuses her. i hate when thai dramas romanticize it. i nearly dropped it bc of the male lead, the reason why i kept watching is only bc of yayas family, i love them sm. so if u dont want an annoying male lead to be forcing the female lead to do whatever he wants then its not recommended and also the arguments get repetitive, ugh it just drags. the most annoying part is i cant hate neung fully being w poom bc of their chemistry tgt huhu, they are cute still.

Another Love Story with Nonsense Plots

I watch this through a recommendation I found on YouTube... quite disappointing even though I LOVE Yaya so much. What a waste of her.
Both lead characters' disappoints me too much. I'm talking about their character in this drama, not both actors acting quality or else. And I'm not trying to hate any particular actors.

I'll start with the male lead (ML). He is such a... pathetic person. After he remembers that she was his childhood friend that he mocked for being ugly, short, and fat, instead of asking for her forgiveness, he keeps on bugging her and insists to she meet him even though she won't.
I gave up on him when in ep 4 when they are on vacation to the beach, he let her aunt and cousin treat her like a servant. He even let her carry on their luggage without giving her any assistance. The doctor's character is more make sense to me. The doctor helps FL with the luggage and cooking while the ML does mostly nothing but play dirty tricks in order to be able to keep meeting her. He almost gives me a heart attack when he says "I've saved your life. So, your life is mine"... what kind of logic is this?!! ???
Not to mention, he got over jealousy of FL's relationship with her Boss, but he keeps the F antagonist next to him... His audacity to make this double standard, and his audacity to test her love (car accident) for him while he never even says something nice to her really makes me want to rip off his face.

The FL's character itself is just toooooo childish. Her level of childishness is totally childlike. Tell me what kind of "mature" woman who sits very far away sticks to the car door in order to sit as far as she can from him, and turned her face away, just because she didn't want to face him? (ep. 3, in the car to the restaurant scene and scene while they're at the restaurant).
Or when she can't even measure her own strength until she drowned herself and when she lets herself sit on his lap just because she won't admit defeat...seriously??
After the drowning scene, ML's dialog is "Still acting smart? Because of your "smartness" you almost lost your life at the sea". Yep, even ML knows she's an idiot, that!

In ep. 8, she's still stated how much she hates ML and will reject the engagement, also in ep. 8, she smiles as if she's in love with him just because he wants to buy her an engagement ring.... Did I miss anything? To anyone who reads this, can you tell me why the couple is in love with each other?
What makes FL fall the ML? He is mean and deceitful, he never does nothing and is mean to her. Drags her everywhere and pushes her to make her do what he wants. He always
What makes ML fall for FL? She's a playgirl in his eyes? He never believes in anyone who talks good about her. Even after he engages with her, he still believes in the villains more than her. How can he loves her when he can't even trust her
What can I say, when the writer wants them to fall in love, they will. Coz, in reality, I believe no matter how handsome and rich he is, any "normal" woman will give up any man who will not stand for her and let anyone treat them like a servant or bully them. I find no reason why they fall for each other but their physical appearance.

3 other weird things... tell me why the villain characters are always, like ALWAYS present anywhere at any time, popping like a ghost to eavesdropping. And I wonder why the writer has to make them have no manners, they don't even have "class".
I also wonder why FL's both sister and brother don't catch on to how uncomfortable she is beside ML? How can a brother say nothing when a man says "I will marry you because I want to conqueror you." to his sister? As a woman, I will destroy any man who dares to say that to my sister. Even when she wants to cancel the engagement, they put the blame on her. Ep. 11 car accident scene, her brother even says "he is here because of you..." I was clapping my hand. What a brother, sided with his sister's nemesis.
Last but not least, FL and her sister are the only characters who have a job in this drama, lol. What is ML's job? He stays at home and uses most of his time to bug FL.

Besides both lead nonsense characters, I'm impressed that they dare enough to make a short drama in that setting era. I can see how much they try to press the budget by only focusing on the character's outfits and hairstyles, but, they did quite a great job.
I do wonder why some lakorn I saw so far, for a man-woman relationship, is always so rude and toxic. While their BL's love story is more beautiful and acceptable for me. I don't think I can get used to Lakorn's toxic relationship and will always rant about it.

The final episode successfully increases my depression. Overall... please give me back my time

'am a fun of james and a little bit of yaya. This drama Neung nai suang is a typical classical story of hate turns to love. Truly i have done a lot of pressing the fast forward button here 'coz there were lots of scenes that could alter the main story(it's kinda dragging). If you have lots of time and no other drama that awaits you then you watch this. Thus, if you have prior drama series being saved then, think twice?✌.
The story of neung and pum excites me in the latter part. Why? In almost 9 episodes they keep on arguing/hating for something. Thus, it's only in the 10th episode that neung admitted to pum that he loved her and then went to a certain place to heal his broken heart( it made me sad?). Furthermore, there were scenes that will make you angry and disappointed( please bear with me✌?).

Cinderella in 90's

•Story-It was makeover of cindrella story into a thai drama with more better version, with the poor girl adopted in a good family with good siblings and annoying cousin. A prince charming where whole town women are crazy for his good looks, which sometimes doesnt made sense. Ending was ok but a bit disappointing i expected more, for the supporting characters too. Ending was rushed annoyingly.

•Acting- it was average for me doesnt really clicked, maybe because I didn’t clicked with the storyline. Supporting character were either bound to make them as couple or were to break them as couple.
Yaya as Pum Most decent girl, with all the good qualities without a flaw, but why does she give in with neung when he forced kissed her.
James as Neung was presented as rich in demand, foreign returned eligible guy of marriageable age. His acting was just average.
And why does there are such people who cling to other just because they love them, I mean chai likes pum but pum did she ever like him, just so clingy.last two epi were full of laughter.

•Music-its ok
•Rewatch-no
•Note-only good thing was its background of late 90’s and handwritten letter.
