Min Ki is an unemployed banker. He now takes over the domestic roles of the house: cooking, cleaning, and watching the baby. In his free time, he watches soap operas and reads romance novels. Meanwhile, his wife Bo Ra works at an English language institute and is having an affair with a former lover. One day, Min Ki accidentally stumbles upon a key, that belongs to his wife, and is unfamiliar.
On one gloomy night, a writer encounters an unexpected paid visit by a woman of his past. From that day on, they cherish each other's body and divulge in ecstasy, although the man finds himself becoming slowly obsessed with her with every minute they spend in his room. But whenever the woman receives a phone call no matter the hour, she always bolts out of the door, leaving the man behind utterly confused. While having no clue as to what she does outside, the man patiently waits and jots down his growing feelings for her in his journal. As this continues on day after day, their erotic relationship becomes threatened one day when he discovers that the mysterious phone call turns out to be her ex-lover who constantly abuses her whenever they meet. Set out to keep their obsessive relationship intact, he recklessly goes out to seek revenge for his beautiful lover.
A housewife becomes enraged with jealousy over her husband's affair. Meanwhile, their son sits in the periphery, observing their violent confrontations. One evening, the housewife takes a kitchen knife into their bedroom to exact revenge on the father. The father though is able to repel her attack and throws her out of the bedroom. The mother then goes into the son's room and from there it hovers the family into tragedy.
The story will focus on a love triangle between the three leads. Eikura plays the role of Morimoto Naoko, a girl from the countryside whose first love is her uncle, Ikezawa Masato. She follows after him to Tokyo by getting admitted into an elite medical university, but there she runs into Masato's girlfriend and colleague Aya, a beautiful and intelligent researcher who is the daughter of the university hospital's director. However, things get complicated after Naoko and Masato meet again.

He gladly accepts her help and Cheong becomes romantically attached to her, neither realizing she is in fact Deok Yi, the woman Hak Kyu betrayed 8 years ago, now on a quest to destroy them. Her plan sets off a vengeance-fuelled chain of events that ultimately sets the three bitter, angry and desperate schemers on a twisting collision course with each other.
